I didn't know MJ wrote the song "Gone too soon"...how ironic

I thought that was his voice...wow, now it's eeerie.

He wrote it more than 10 years ago. He wrote it for (i think his name was Daniel) a kid with AIDS. It is a beautiful song.

Is that the same boy Elton John did a benefit concert or something like that?

Yes...the boy was the first face of childrens' AIDS bringing notice to hemophiliacs. He contracted via transfusion.

I do remember that now...A very sad story.

I read about that recently. His name was Ryan White and he died of AIDS. Elton and someone else supported him financially until his death. A sad but touching story.

Okay, had to lay Alex down and he is out (no nap today). I'm back.

Red you're half naked .Members of our family were docs in the 80's.They died we always believed it was AIDS that killed them.

Hi Mermaid..my mom died in the 80's too (1983 at the age of 53) from complications from Lupus :sadness: ...however she had several blood and platelet transfusions she may have contracted AIDS too. We did not do an autopsy as she died in a hospital under several doctors' care.

Yes, he's a sweetie...for some reason my computer had no sound...I'll have to have my guy that just installed extras check to make sure he did not disconnect the sound card. The last time I saw him he signed CD's and T-shirts so I got to tell him I saw him way back when he opened for Dave Mason at the Universal Amphitheater. He was very sweet.
