Good Morning Westex. I'm not sure if she was on drugs or not. The article did mention her mother was. You can go to the singsnap website and it actually shows a picture of her, without her eyes covered.

Good Morning NC, George, Westex,
...TGIF....
Just want to say that this girl Alyssa seems to be a very disturbed child...She still should be treated as an adult. People at 15 do know right from wrong. Im sure she has been showing behavioral problems all along and no one has done anything about it. If she lives with her grandmother, grandmother's tend to not look for problems in their grandchildren. I only say this because I speak of my mother and her grandchildren. They can do no wrong.... It's so sad that it took her murdering a little girl for someone to say "hey, this girl is not right"...May Elizabeth RIP....
Have a nice day, will be popping in and out today...

Good Morning Tears... I totally agree with you regarding this 15 yr old girl. It really hits close to home, thinking about what we are going thru with my 14 yr old stepson. And now that he is living with his grandparents again, I wonder what will become of this situation. It's really sad.

Agreed, but it isn't that simple to say that this girl is not right. My oldest son was never right and no matter how many times we brought him to a doctor, we always got he has ADHD, that is who he is, he is a teenager, you name it, we got an excuse and now he is in a state mental hospital with a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia and it took us having to get the police and courts involved for someone to listen to us. We were lucky that he never touched anyone or did anything to anyone but we saw the signs and he certainly expressed his hostility toward us and others in his writings but it was not easy to get someone to listen. I am not making an excuse for that little girl but I am making one for her caretakers. It sometimes unfortunately, takes a tragedy for someone to listen. The mental health system sucks....

Good Morning Rider, I am glad your son is now getting the help he needs. It is very difficult dealing with mental illness. And sometimes a parent and grandparent does see the warning signs and does try to do the right things. Maybe now, with a proper diagnosis and proper meds your son will be able to progress.

Good Morning Riders. You are exactly right. Just as in the Caylee Case. You know George and Cindy had to have seen the signs that Casey was an unfit mother and chose to keep blinders on and do nothing to protect their grandchild. When you see signs that your child has a problem you have to step in and take some sort of control. Don't expect it to just go away on it's own.

First off good morning everyone didn't mean to start my blogging off with depressing stuff ~ but yes that is why it infuriates me that the Anthonys use excuses for KC. Spindy was a damn nurse and should have known better. But as far as my family goes, my son hates us but I had to protect my other sons, my husband and I and the public. Now with the state of the mental health system it doesn't mean that my son will get the correct help and be on his way ~ it could happen that they let him out and he could go right back to where he was, but atleast we tried ~though it isn't easy to even get help ~ my son is 22 years old and has more rights as a patient than we have as potential victims ~ it is very scary ~ but anyway ~ TGIF
