There is new information in the case of a missing Bakersfield girl.

Alyssa Brandon, 13, hasn't been seen since October 21st. She is considered at-risk.

Bakersfield
Police say Alyssa was communicating with a 14-year-old boy in Jerome,
Idaho, but the boy and his parents tell investigators Alyssa was not
expected there.

On Tuesday, police turned their focus to a
45-year-old man who contacted Amtrak about fares to Jerome, Idaho, then
took a taxi to Fresno.

Alyssa's parents say they have family in the Fresno area, but no one has seen her.

They
say they don't know who the man is and they're worried sick about their
daughter. Andrea Brandon, Alyssa's mother. "All I care about right
now is if I can get even a phone call from her just saying she's okay,"
said Andrea Brandon, Alyssa's mother. "If I could hear her voice,
that's the hardest part is the not knowing. If I knew she was with a
friend. If I knew she was sleeping on someone's couch or even in their
closet of her own free will, then I could probably sleep better."

"We
get our hopes up she might be here, then we hear she might be somewhere
else. She could be anywhere. That's really what we want everybody to
know so everybody's looking," said Alyssa's father, Kyle Brandon.

Alyssa Brandon is 5'4", 120 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

She has a burn scar on her upper right arm.

A 13-year-old girl missing for more than a week has been found.

Andrea
and Kyle Brandon pleaded for help last week in finding their daughter,
Alyssa, who they thought had run off to be with a 14-year-old boy from
Jerome, Idaho, who she met on MySpace.

A note that was left in
Alyssa's bedroom said she was "long gone," and her parents assumed she
went to see the boy who lived nearly 900 miles away.

Alyssa
was found Wednesday night hanging out with a friend in Shafter after
the friend's mother saw reports of the missing girl on TV and called
police.
