Detroit police are searching for a woman who left her home with her
baby and threatened to harm herself and the child, officials said.
India Douglas, 22, left with her 18-month-old daughter
in a blue 1998 Mercury Sable, with the vanity license plate QTPIE 05.
She's 5-foot-9, 135 pounds with black hair. She was wearing pink and
brown nurse scrubs, police said.Her daughter, Jayden Ralph Douglas-Jones, is 2-foot-4 with black hair. She was wearing white pajamas.
The two were last seen about 1:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Holcomb on Detroit's east side.
People with information can call the police department's Northeast District at 313-596-1100.

been found.The mother, known as India, left a home on Holcomb
Street on Detroit's eastside around 1:30 a.m. Friday with her son after
making threats.India's family said they were worried about her son Jayden Ralph Douglas-Jones' safety and called police.The woman's mother told Local 4 she spoke to India on the phone and she is OK. India told her mother she would be home soon.
