STEVE BENNET - 13 yo - Miami-Dade FL

Police are investigating the whereabouts of a 13-year-old boy who was last seen Friday afternoon walking home from school.

Steve Bennet attends Westview Middle School and was walking in the
12200 block of Northwest 17th Place when his friends last saw him,
according to Miami-Dade police. Detectives say that it is out of character for Bennet to not be in contact with his family.

Bennet is black, about 5-foot-3, 100 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. He has markings in his eyebrows from an injury.

On Friday, he wore a navy blue polo shirt, blue jeans, black and gray Nike sneakers and a black and white backpack.

Anyone who has seen Bennett is asked to contact their local police agency.

The search is over for a South Florida teen.

Early Sunday morning Miami police announced that they had found 13-year-old Steve Bennett.

Police asked for the public's help in finding the missing Westview
Middle School student after he failed to return home from school on
Friday. At the time of his disappearance Bennett was carrying a black
and white backpack in the area of Northwest 17th Place and 122nd
Street.

While not saying where the boy was found, police did say he appeared to be in good condition.
