Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 17-year-old girl.
Crystal Whitten was last seen at her home on the 3200 block of D Street SE on Friday, October 23.
Whitten is described as a black female with a medium complexion, 5
feet, 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds with brown eyes
and brown hair worn in plaits. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and black sneakers. The color and type of shirt she was last wearing is unknown.
Whitten may appear to be disoriented and is in need of medication.
Anyone with information on Whitten's whereabouts is asked to call Metropolitan Police at 202-727-9099.

UPDATE: 11/4/09 Crystal Whitten has been located. She is unharmed and has safely been returned home.
