You were there when I took my first step
In her handkerchief Nana quietly wept
No longer a baby for you to carry around
My little steps so light, they made no sound
PaPa you always held me close when thunder came
Your face smiled wide the first time I said your name
You and Nana taught me how to swim out back
Like a duck to water you said I had the knack
Nana remember how you sang so softly to me
You said I'd always be your sweet precious baby
Silly tickles you gave me just before I fell asleep
You prayed nightly to God for my soul to keep
PaPa you taught me how to play peek-a-boo
Each time you left, I wanted to go with you
Nana sometimes put little curlers in my hair
She even let me sit in her favorite rocking chair
So many things that I miss about both of you
Please tell me you think often about me too
Remember all the good times like before
I'll always be your Caylee now and forevermore
