ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Accused murderer Casey Anthony was back in court on Friday for the continuation of an evidence hearing that started last week.
Casey Anthony's attorneys have asked Judge Belvin Perry to throw out some of the state's evidence against her including tests done on air samples collected from her Pontiac Sunfire. It will be up for the judge to decide if the methods used are groundbreaking science, suitable to be used as evidence in trial or junk science thatshould be thrown out. Another hearing is scheduled for Friday.
The jury in the murder trial of Casey Anthony was supposed to be picked from another Florida city, but on Friday, Judge Belvin Perry, Jr. said that may not be possible.
"If we are unable to get a jury from the location that we have, it is my intent to begin jury selection here in Orange County," Judge Perry said.
