KNOXVILLE (WATE) - An endangered child alert was issued Tuesday evening for a Knoxville teen.

16-year-old Elizabeth Green was last seen on Nov. 15, wearing a gray t-shirt and blue jeans.


Elizabeth is a white female with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She is 5'9" tall and weighs 280 lbs.

She requires daily medication and it is believed that she is without her medication.

Endangered Child Alert canceled; Knoxville teen found safe

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Knoxville teen who was the subject of an Endangered Child Alert Tuesday has been found safe.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Wednesday that 16-year-old Elizabeth Green was recovered by law enforcement and is now safe.

No information additional information about her disappearance has been released.
