On this shocking day...

Dear Little Angel,
I just needed a moment to tell you how sorry I am that those 12 people who we were counting on to bring you justice did just the opposite.
You see, adults aren't always so smart. Of course, you already knew that by the actions of your mother.
It seems that they were more concerned about her and themselves, than they were about you.
It all became about justice for your mother and their own comfort, instead of you. It's what we call selfishness.
You endured much selfishness in your short life and now, three years after you left us, you face it again.
These people who made the decision to ignore what happened to you were brought to your area from another place.
They were alone, with strangers, and kept in a secret place for what must have seemed like a very long time.
They saw your mother crying when she saw what she was responsible for. She also cried alot when she realized that
she would get punished for it. This made them forget that they were there for you, not her.
Trust me when I tell you that you have made a difference in many peoples' lives. Your smile, playfulness and even
your singing of "You are my Sunshine" will always be remembered by us. We are using the power of your memory to help other little boys and girls and to let these adults know that we will not put up with their selfishness anymore.
We will do all we can to keep your memory alive and help others at the same time.
