Amber Alert issued for missing B.C. girl

Breeze Boden, left, is described as 5 feet 5 inches, weighing 110 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. She may be with her father Shane Phalen. (RCMP)
RCMP in Vernon, B.C., have issued an Amber Alert for 15-year-old Breeze Boden who police say may be travelling with her father.
Police say the girl may be travelling in a 1999 Green Ford Windstar Mini Van with the B.C. license plate 348NFG.
She may be accompanied by Shane Phalen, 37, though police advise the public not to approach him.
Boden is described as 5 feet 5 inches, weighing 110 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
She was last seen wearing a green velour house coat.

Phalen is described at six feet tall, 190 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous, and police caution the public not to approach him but to instead call 911.

SWAT team called to home where B.C. Amber Alert suspect thought holed up
VERNON, B.C.—A police emergency response team has been called to a home in Delta, B.C., where the suspect in an Amber Alert is thought to be holed up.
The RCMP in Vernon issued the alert Sunday night for 15-year-old Breeze Boden, who police said may be with her father, Shane Phalen, in a 1999 green Ford minivan.
Delta Police Sgt. Ciaran Feenan says the vehicle has been found in a residential neighbourhood of the Vancouver suburb.
He says the emergency response team is on the scene and police negotiators are trying to make contact with the suspect.
Feenan says there’s no immediate information about the whereabouts of Boden.
However, shortly after word of the discovery of the vehicle, officials cancelled the Amber Alert.

The amber alert for Breeze Boden was lifted after police entered a Delta home around 7 a.m. Monday and found the 15-year-old girl unharmed inside. Boden's father Shane Phelan was suspected in the kidnapping and is in police custody.
