Police are searching for a missing 17-year-old described as a high-functioning autistic girl with a speech impairment.



Sabrina Marguerite Rattray was last seen at her residence on Braun Road in Washtenaw County’s Bridgewater Township at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, there are no indications of foul play at this time.
Sabrina was last seen wearing a light blue puffy jacket, blue jeans, gray and orange shoes and had a black and red backpack. She is 5 feet 8, 195 pounds, has black hair and blue eyes.

Police are still searching for an autistic teenager reported missing from Washtenaw County’s Bridgewater Township Thursday.

The girl, Sabrina Marguerite Rattray, 17, was last
seen at her home on Braun Road at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, when she left of
her own accord and was trying to flag down cars for a ride, Washtenaw
County sheriff's department spokesman Derrick Jackson said. He said it's
not clear whether she got into a stranger's car.

She is a high-functioning autistic teen with a speech impairment, an
alert from the sheriff's department said. There was no indication of
foul play, the alert said.

She is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 195 pounds. She has black hair
and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a light blue puffy jacket, blue
jeans, gray and orange shoes and was carrying a black and red backpack.

Jackson said there may be an update on the case later today after the
sheriff's department has finished contacting friends and relatives to
see if anyone may know where she is.

A 17-year-old Bridgewater girl who went missing has been located unharmed, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office.


According to an alert sent out by the law enforcement agency, Sabrina
Marguerite Rattray was found in the Adrian area with a friend.


She had been last seen at her Braun Road residence at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.


In an alert sent over Nixle, the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office thanked residents who sent tips and helped locate the girl.
