TAMIRA MADISON - 16 yo - Auburn NY

The Auburn Police Department is looking for a 16-year-old girl
who apparently left Cayuga Centers Tuesday afternoon and has not returned.

The girl, Tamira Madison, was last seen walking toward Lake
Avenue from Cayuga Centers, 101 Hamilton Avenue. She was wearing a
black sweatshirt and slippers.

According to a description from the police Madison is black,
approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, 138 pounds, with brown eyes,
black hair and a tattoo of a star below her right ear.

Madison is from Rochester, and police believe she may have
returned there. Anyone with information can call 911 or the APD at
253-3231 or 255-4706. Calls can remain anonymous.

ROCHESTER -- A teenager from Auburn has been found safe, in Rochester, after running away from a group home last Tuesday.

As expected, 16-year-old Tamira Madison was located, on Friday, at a home in Rochester. Originally from Rochester, Madison now lives at Cayuga Centers in Auburn, the former Cayuga Home for Children.

In a brief news release, Auburn Police Lt. Shawn Butler thanked all those who'd phoned in tips regarding the teen's whereabouts, and the Rochester PD for their help in the case.
