Authorities Search For Missing Child

TAVARES, Fla. -- A 9-year-old girl is missing from Tavares, police officers and deputies in Lake County said.
The
Tavares Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff's Office are
searching for the missing child, identified as Iyana Taylor, who was
last seen walking near Wooton Park at Tuesday at 5 p.m.
Taylor stands about 4 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds, according to deputies. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
The girl was last seen wearing black capri pants, a blue shirt and a backpack.
Deputies
employed a helicopter to assist in their search. The Sheriff's Office
also sent out a reverse 911 call early Wednesday to residents within a
few miles of Wooton Park.
Anyone who may have seen Taylor should call 352-742-6300.

The Tavares Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff's Office were searching for the missing child, identified as Iyana Taylor, after she was last seen walking near Wooton Park at Tuesday at 5 p.m.
Taylor apparently spent the night at a friend's home. She was found at 7:30 a.m.
