CHRISTINA SMITH - 15 yo - Etowah/ Boaz/ Gadsden AL

The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help to locate a missing teen.

15 year old Christina Marie Smith was last seen around 2:30 a.m.
Saturday morning at her home on Highway 278 in Attalla. That is just
south of Boaz and north of Gadsden.

Smith is five feet, five inches tall and weights 120 pounds. She was
last seeing wearing a white cotton tank top and black pajama pants with
blue neon bunnies on them.

Investigators are running down possible leads.

If you know where Smith is, you’re asked to call the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office.

Missing Etowah County teen found safe today

ETOWAH COUNTY, Alabama - An Etowah County missing teen was found safe this morning, authorities said.

Christina Marie Smith, 15, was reported missing Saturday. She was last seen Saturday at 2:30 a.m. at her home on U.S. Highway 278 West in Attalla.

The Etowah County Sheriff's Office reports today that Christina was found about 8:45 a.m. today at a home on Thornhill Road in the Carlisle community.

Authorities said information on the whereabouts of Christina came from resident who learned of the story from news accounts.

"It is because of the great cooperation with the media that helped us find Christina and bring her home safely," Sheriff Todd Entrekin said today in a prepared statement.
