Police search for 2 missing Franklin County girls

(KMOV.com) – The Gerald Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two juvenile females from Gerald, Missouri.

Cienna, 12, and Makaela Kosatka, 14, have been missing since Monday and may have run away from their home after having a disagreement with their mother, according to police.

Cienna (pictured on the right) is approximately 5’4” and weighs 100 pounds. She has brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

Makaela (pictured on the left) is approximately 5’6” and weighs 125 pounds. She has blonde shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

Sisters reported missing from Franklin County found unharmed


GERALD, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Wednesday evening, police located two young
sisters who reportedly ran away from their home in Gerald, Missouri
after a fight with their mother.

Makaela Kosatka, 14, and her sister Cienna, 12, were found in Bland,
Missouri, around 7:30 p.m., not far from their hometown, Gerald after a
witness tip. Police said they were spotted walking down a Bland street.


The girls were unharmed, but reported they were hungry at the time they were found.

Police do not yet know where the girls were the past few days.
Police awaited the girls' parents and representatives from the
Department of Family Services before they initiated any questioning.
