An Amber Alert has been canceled for a 7-week-old boy after
his father allegedly took him following a physical altercation with the
boy's mother.

Jaelin Levison was found safe after the elder Levinson reportedly
gave the boy to his sister and she notified the Hillsborough County
Sheriff's Office, according to spokesperson Debbie Carter. The boy was
allegedly taken by Reginald D. Levison, 27, after the physical altercation with the boy's mother, Teah Coward, 26, of Tampa.

The baby is fine and will be returned to his mother.

Coward said Levison grabbed her by the neck, attempted to strangle
her, hit her multiple times and kept her from leaving her apartment.
Levison allegedly took her cell phone, as well, preventing her from
calling for help. Levison took the boy and fled in Coward's vehicle.

Levison allegedly made threats that he might harm the boy and any law
enforcement that attempted to apprehend him, Coward said. He also stated
he would not go back to prison, deputies said.

Levison remains at large Saturday night. He is believed to be driving a 2007 Red Sebring with Florida tag A-E-N-C-6-3.
He is described as a black male, 5'7", 200 lbs., medium to large build,
with shoulder length dreadlocks and a chin strap style beard.

Anyone with any information reference the whereabouts of Levison or the
missing child is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office
at 813-247-8200 or if you want to remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.
