Missing 16-Year-Old

The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community's help in locating missing 16-year-old Keira Nechell Harris. Keira was last seen Saturday, December 1, 2012 at approximately 8:00 a.m., when she left her home in the area of Valley Hi Drive and Wyndham Drive.

Keira is believed to have left her home on foot and her family reports she has no history of leaving without them knowing her whereabouts. Keira is listed as an at-risk missing person.

Keira was last seen wearing a pink pullover blouse and blue jeans. She is a black female, 5'6", 160 pounds, and may be wearing a black straight shoulder-length wig that curls at the bottom.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this missing young woman to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471.

Missing Sacramento teen found safe after 5 days

SACRAMENTO - A 16-year-old Sacramento girl was found unharmed on Thursday after disappearing five days ago.

Keira Nechell Harris went missing after leaving her home in the area of Vallley Hi Dr. and Wyndham Dr. around 8 a.m. on Saturday, said officer Michelle Gigante.

Harris was considered at-risk due to the fact she had no history of leaving without telling anyone where she was going, Gigante said.

No information was provided on where Harris was found or why she disappeared.
