A 14-year-old girl from Gainesville, considered a habitual runaway by the Gainesville Police Department, has been reported missing by her family.

BreeAnn Allyson Brooks, 14, has been missing since 10:45 p.m. Sunday, according to family.

She is an eighth-grader at Sweetwater Branch Academy, stands 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds.

GPD spokesman Officer Ben Tobias said the department has notified its personnel as well as area law enforcement agencies.

Brooks is considered a habitual runaway with a history of such behavior, Tobias said. GPD does not typically issue public bulletins about runaways.

Anyone with information on Brooks' whereabouts can contact GPD at 393-7500.

Odd that they are not providing a picture of this girl.

I hope she has returned home as there is nothing to be found about searches for her or appeals from family.

Ladibug, this is a local girl. I believe she is still missing.

Search results on Gainesville.com and WUFT have nothing.
The local Gainesville only has the original report of her missing; WUFT does not even have that. It would be nice if all news stations that report a missing person would have to report when that person is found/returns home.
