ACTIVE AMBER Alert: Luke Towner – Houston,TX

Harris County Sheriff's Office has issued an Amber Alert for missing 18-month-old, Luke Towner. The baby is a white male,
approximately 2 feet tall and weighs 26 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. The biological father assaulted the mother and took the child, making threats to kill both himself and the child. They were last seen on Monday, May 20 at the Crown Plaza Hotel on Highway 59 in the Houston area. The suspect stole a vehicle and it is a 1998 Tan, Ford F150, four-door truck with Texas License Plate 57RDX7. A photo of the child is not yet available but will be distributed when it is. Anyone with information regarding the child, the suspect or vehicle is asked to call the Harris County Sheriff's Office immediately ay 713-967-5890.

Colorado Amber Alert Has Been Canceled


An Amber Alert has been issued for 3-year-old Luke Turner who was taken by
his father Monty Turner. (Courtesy: National Center For Missing and

Three year old Luke Turner was believed to possibly be traveling
through Kansas with 51 year old Monty Ray Turner, the child's
non-custodial father. The child and father were located in Manitoba,
Canada. Luke was found unharmed and safe, while his father is now in
custody in Manitoba.


Turner is the non-custodial father of Luke and has an
active protection order requiring no contact with the child after a
previous abduction.


Turner forced entry into Luke's mother's home, tazed and
pepper-sprayed her before removing the child. They were last seen
leaving the Longmont, Colorado area on a bicycle.

Colorado Prosecutors Seek Return Of Kidnapping Suspect

Colorado prosecutors are working with Canadian officials to
take custody of a 51-year-old man accused of attacking his estranged
wife with pepper spray and a stun gun and kidnapping their young son.

Monty Turner was arrested Sunday in Brandon, Manitoba, with
3-year-old Luke. Authorities say the boy was unharmed, and they were
working to reunite him with his mother Monday.

Police say Monty Turner forced his way into the Longmont,
Colo., home of his wife, Brandy Turner, on Saturday and fled with Luke.
Monty Turner was found with the boy in a motel in Manitoba.

The Longmont Daily Times-Call reported Monday that Brandy
Turner says she spoke with Luke on the phone and that he knows he's
coming home. She says she can't go get him because she has no passport.

According to the Longmont Police Department, Turner shocked
his estranged wife with a stun gun and pepper sprayed her before he
kidnapped their son.

Turner was seen riding away with Luke on a bicycle with a
childrens' seat, police said, and had likely parked a vehicle nearby to
make his getaway.

An Amber Alert that had been issued for Luke was cancelled this afternoon.


Early this morning, Monty Turner's father was arrested
after he was pulled over in Missouri while driving a car being sought in
connection with his grandson's disappearance, Longmont police told ABC
News' Denver affiliate. Ronald Turner was arrested as an accessory,
police said.
