KATLYN BURD - 17 yo - Clinton NJ/OK and FL alerted

Clinton NJ ---- Township police are seeking
information about the whereabouts of a pregnant 17-year-old who left her
foster home last weekend and has not been located.
Katlyn Burd, 17, who is more than 7 months pregnant, had been living
with a foster family on Hibbler Road in Clinton Township for
approximately three months pursuant to a court order from Warren County,
police say.The teen told her foster family that a female
friend was making a 2,500-mile trip to take her where she wanted to go,
police said.



The teen was last seen walking on Hibbler Road in the direction of
Prescott Circle and may have been be carrying two duffel bags.Police
say she may be heading to Oklahoma or Florida.Police were
unable to find any vehicles with out-of-state plates, nor were they
able to make contact with the teen via her cell phone. Area police
agencies were notified and the teen was entered into the National Crime
Information Center computer network as a missing juvenile.She
is described as a white female with blue eyes, blonde hair,
5-foot-six-inches tall, approximately 130 pounds, and was last seen
wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans, a white belt, and
multi-colored sneakers.Clinton Township detectives are
working with her foster family and Warren County authorities.Anyone
with information about the whereabouts of Katlyn Burd is asked to
contact

Katlyn was reported missing on April 4, 2010 because
she was last seen at her residence on April 3, 2010 in Clinton Township,
NJ. She was then seen on North Meridian Road in Oklahoma City, OK on
April 16, 2010 and may still be in the Oklahoma City, OK area. She is
pregnant.

Hello XXXX XXXX,
Yes Katlyn was found in another state after extensive searching by our
detective bureau. She turned 18 and declined to return to NJ at that
time. In fact she has kept in contact with one of our detectives and
thanked him for caring enough to look for her. To the best of my
knowledge she is doing fine.
