Hoquiam WA ---- Police here are investigating the mysterious death of a
3-year-old girl whose body was found at her home on Wednesday morning.

Investigators
responded to a 911 call at the child's home at approximately 11 a.m.
They arrived to find the girl dead with no apparent signs of trauma. The
child had no medical conditions that could have directly attributed to
her death, detectives said.

The Grays Harbor County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the cause of death.

Detectives
would not say whether her parents were home at the time of her death.
They did say, however, that the couple's two other children - a
1-year-old and the deceased 3-year-old's twin - have been taken into
protective custody.

No other details were immediately available, and the investigation is ongoing.

Hoquiam police are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine how a 3-year-old girl died.

Police said there was no sign of trauma when they responded to a 911 call about 11 a.m. Wednesday and found the child not breathing.

Two other children from the home have been taken by Child Protective Services.
