Linda Kenney Baden is a member of the defense team of Jose Baez who is the attorney for the accused Casey Anthony. This happened shortly after the Judge Stan Strickland denied the motion of protecting and preserving a small child’s body that had been found in East Orange County’s wooden area. Casey Anthony is accused for murdering her child.


The name of Linda Kenney Baden appears familiar to many people as she is a recognized author, legal commentator and a trial attorney. She has been involved with many criminal cases of high profile. Recently she had represented Phil Spector, the music producer. She represented Spector for murder trial.

Baden gave the analysis of the controversy that surrounded the death of Anna Nicole Smith, the super model. Linda Kenney Baden’s husband, Dr. Michael Baden is a forensic expert. He appeared in Autopsy, a series of HBO.

Kenney Baden proceeded in the case so that forensic expert is allowed for reviewing the case which might show any link with Casey Anthony. She is a woman of 22 and pleaded that he was not the murderer of Caylee Marie, her daughter.

It has been reported by the official sources that the girl had been missing from 16 June. However, her mother reported that the girl was missing in July. Anthony told to the authorities that she had left the girl with baby sitter. She could not find any of them when she had returned home from work.

The girl could not be found anywhere. Remains of the little child had been found on Thursday from a quarter mile from the home of Cindy and George Anthony, the grandparents of Caylee.

Kenney Baden at first introduced the expert team who would examine the body and suggest what is to be done. The team of experts comprise of forensic anthropologist Dr. Kathy Reichs. He is also the author of some bestselling crime books. The other member of the team is famous forensic pathologist named Dr. Werner Spitz. Dr. Timothy Huntington who is a certified forensic entomologist of Nebraska University is also in the team.

Linda Kenney AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY LINDA B. KENNEY Linda B. Kenney is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Rutgers School of Law and Rutgers University. Following graduation from law school, Ms. Kenney served a judicial clerkship with the Presiding Judge of the Appellate Division, Judge John F. Lynch. She then entered private practice with the law firm of Meyner and Landis in Newark. In 1980, Ms. Kenney was appointed Assistant Prosecutor for the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office where she served as a trial team leader and the lead attorney assigned to the Sex Crimes Investigative Unit. During her tenure with the Prosecutor's Office, she prepared and tried numerous criminal cases including those involving murder and the death penalty. Ms. Kenney was awarded an “AV” rating through Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating that one can attain.
