Lee Kravath, 15, is missing. He has been missing from the area of 18
N. 950 East in Ogden since about 3 p.m. Friday and is believed to be
within that general area, possibly hiding, said Lt. Eric Young.



Kravath is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds and
having sandy brown hair and green eyes. He mentally functions about at
the level of a 6-year-old, Young said.
He was last seen wearing a black-and-yellow parka and may not be wearing shoes.
The Ogden Police Department has put out reverse 911 calls to alert
the neighborhood he is missing. Police ask everyone to keep an eye out
and check their property to see if he may be hiding there.
If anyone sees him or has any information, the police ask that you call them at 801-629-8221.

A 15-year-old boy who disappeared in Ogden was found Saturday in Phoenix.

“It’s a happy ending for all,” said Ogden police Lt. Scott Conley.

Lee Kravath is autistic and police had been
told he functions at the cognitive level of about a 6-year-old. He went
missing Friday afternoon from a residential school..

Police and volunteers fanned across Ogden on
Saturday looking for Kravath. Conley said Phoenix police called about 6
p.m. to say they located him.

“He was tired and didn’t like the facility he had been placed into here and decided he was headed south,” Conley said.

Conley said it appears Kravath panhandled for
enough money for a bus ticket back to his home in Arizona then
purchased a seat on a Greyhound bus. In Phoenix, he made a comment to
somebody about having run away and police were called.

Autistic teen missing from Ogden found in Phoenix


OGDEN — A 15-year-old autistic boy missing since Friday afternoon who reportedly had the mental capacity of a 6-year-old, was found safe Saturday in Phoenix, Ariz.
Lee Cravath, 15, was last seen Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Ogden's Waterfall Canyon Academy, 818 N. 950 East. He had only been at the facility for less than a month but had a history of running away. His parents live in Arizona.
