ORLANDO, Fla. -- The credibility of evidence in the case against Casey Anthony will be battled out in court starting Wednesday.

The so-called Frye hearings are scheduled to last several days.

Orlando criminal defense attorney Richard Hornsby, who is not affiliated with the case, explained that Frye hearings are a chance for the judge to make sure that the evidence is accepted by the scientific community. If not, the evidence can be excluded.
