I Felt No Pain

I'm okay, I'm far from all the hurt and pain
Those who truly love me will see me again
I felt nothing as I saw the coming light
My soul left before my body tried to fight
Angels sang to me as they carried me away
They said that with my mom I couldn't stay
I tried to look back and call out her name
Angels blocked my view and absorbed my pain
Beautiful lights and shadows spun all around
Angels placed me gently on a big playground
Other children gathered so quickly around me
They gave me teddy bears and lots of candy
So it's here I play with all of my new friends
Free to be me and the fun never ends
I can't recall where I was before being here
But I love it and my Father God is always near
