ANTHONY NOCEDAL Jr - 2 yo - Fruita ( NW of Grand Junction) CO

Authorities are searching Fruita for a 2-year-old boy who may have been taken by his mother from his front yard.


The child, Anthony Leavitt, has light brown hair, a
rat tail, and was last seen in a diaper. It's believe his mother,
Chelsea Leavitt took him and could be headed to Las Vegas. A reverse
911 call was put out in the Fruita area for anyone to report a child
matching this description.




Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Heather Benjamin says
Anthony was only missing for about 10 minutes when he was reported
missing. The call came in around 3:20 p.m. Authorities are searching in
the area of 533 East Harrison Avenue.


Chelsea is described as a white
female with long brown hair. It's unclear what clothes she was wearing,
but she weighs about 140 pounds, is 5' 9" tall and is 34-years-old.


Chelsea drives a Forest green 2001 Chevy Blazer with license plate 107VSD, registered in the state of Nevada.

The Fruita Police Department has confirmed that the missing 2-year-old boy Anthony is safe and with his mother.Police
say Chelsea Leavitt, 34, of Las Vegas, called to inform them that her
son Anthony is indeed with her. Fruita police aren't sure of her
whereabouts and their is an ongoing investigation regarding custody
rights.Officers don't think the child is in danger with Leavitt.
