So the Media decides they need to appeal the Judges Order!
Excerpt:
Nothing like waiting 3 working days before the Jury selection starts to get that last digs in. In the Confidentiality paperwork, which I remind you, Mercier has never seen, but attached it to their emergency hearing states:
♦ not to disclose the location of the change in venue to anyone except those necessary to make logistical arrangements for coverage of the proceedings
♦ Not to arrive at the venue location before Jury selection proceedings begin except to stay overnight immediately before the proceedings
♦ not to broadcast, publish, or otherwise disclose the location of the venue change
The PENALTY for failure to comply with the terms of the agreement includes revocation of court-issued media credentials and the possibility of being held in contempt of court, resulting in incarceration and/or a fine.
In the Emergency motion the Media that Mercier represents now, of course many backed out, states that such actions violates a well established First Amendment jurisprudence and Florida law.
So what could this mean?
