Casey Anthony trial: Perry said 'Miss Anthony is sick,' ends court early

Chief Judge Belvin Perry ended the Casey Anthony trial early after the defendant became emotional, and possibly sick, after hearing detailed testimony about the remains of her daughter Caylee Marie, the 2-year-old she is accused of killing.

"Miss Anthony is ill," Perry announced. "Neither the state nor the defense have any comments."

Courtroom bailiffs later escorted Casey Anthony out of the courtroom. Reports from the Orange County Courthouse said Casey Anthony was crying during the mid-afternoon break.

Casey Anthony was returned to the Orange County Jail where she is being seen by medical staff, jail officials said. Specifics about her treatment or illness will not be released due to medical privacy laws, according to Allen Moore, jail spokesman.
