Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
Sunday marks 90 days since Haleigh Cummings was reported missing from her Satsuma home.
The
5-year-old's disappearance triggered a massive search and criminal
investigation. It also put Putnam County into the national spotlight,
often in unflattering ways, and put a fractured family's domestic
issues front and center.
Now, some there months later, there are far more questions than answers.
"We
don't know for sure what's happened, but we do know that somewhere down
the end of the line there's going to be some type of crime involved,"
Capt. Dick Schauland, a spokesman for the Putnam County Sheriff's
Office, said Friday.
Aside from general statements, authorities have refused to discuss what their investigators have uncovered.
"We
also have to maintain a criminal investigation and we have to maintain
the integrity of that," Schauland said. "Should we be able to release
something that would help us locate Haleigh we would certainly do that
even if it would compromise the criminal investigation."
Schauland said investigators are still on the case, even though other events have occurred since the girl went missing.
"Obviously
there are other things going on in the county too, but nonetheless the
investigators are still working," Schauland said. "Hundreds and
hundreds of interviews have been done, and they are still doing them."
The
blond-haired kindergartner was reported missing at 3:27 a.m. on Feb. 10
by Misty Croslin, who is now married to Haleigh's father, Ronald
Cummings.
She said she had put Haleigh and Ronald Junior,
Haleigh's little brother, to bed at 10 p.m., and awoke at 3 a.m. to
find Haleigh gone.
A national Amber Alert was issued for Haleigh at 8 a.m. that morning, and remains in effect.
Diving
squads, ground searchers, bloodhounds and helicopters scoured the area
around Satsuma throughout the week for the little girl, and horseback
riders searched deep wooded areas, with nothing found.
Authorities said they believed she was abducted, since the child is afraid of the dark and does not wander off alone.
"Everybody
in that whole area within a mile of the house they have interviewed at
last three times, and of course with family members they've done as
many as 10 times," Schauland said.
Both sides of Haleigh's family set up camps in the neighborhood and held nightly vigils, praying for her return.
By Feb. 26, cadaver dogs were sent out to search within a quarter-mile of her home, but no scent of the 5-year-old was detected.
The stress remains for family members.
Ronald
Cummings, Haleigh's father, married Misty Croslin on March 12, and now
lives at his grandmother's house in Welaka since he lost his job.
"Every
day is a little harder," Annette Sykes, Cummings' grandmother, said
Friday. "We still have candlelight vigils every night."
Teresa Neves, Cummings' mother, said the vigils are open to the public and take place on Front Street in Welaka.
"I just want to thank everyone for their prayers," Neves said.
Crystal Sheffield, Haleigh's mother, travels between her home in Baker County and the Haleighbug Center in Satsuma.
The missing girl's nickname was the inspiration for the center's name.
"Primarily
what it's being used for is that we are going to pick back up some
fund-raisers and keep the word out about Haleigh still being missing,"
Kim Picazio, Sheffield's attorney, said.
"The funds go to
keeping flyers printed, T-shirts, keeping the word out in this town and
surrounding towns to let them know that this child is still missing and
that law enforcement needs any information that could possibly lead to
finding her."
Sheffield recently had a seizure at the center, which Picazio blamed on stress.
"It's very stressful for her to sit at the Haleighbug Center," Picazio said. "I can't imagine after this long as a mom."
Picazio now has a full-time employee at the building, which she pays for herself.
Sykes said the family has faith Haleigh is alive.
"Whoever has her, bring her home," Sykes said.

Haleigh Cummings: Candle Light Vigil

Central
Florida- In a strange turn of events Haleigh Cummings family will be
attending a candle light vigil held by the Never Lose Hope Foundation
along with the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation. There in Central
Florida, Orlando/Lake Mary Location. I have been covering Haleigh since
almost the day she vanished. I was appalled to know at one point George
Anthony had gone to Satsuma to lend his assistance to Ron Cummings when
Haleigh was first reported missing.
I honestly don’t trust the Anthony’s as far as I can spit. For them
to be aiding in a case of any missing child is backwards they did not
once search for Caylee nor have they admitted who the true murderer is.
They continue to promote a lie of her murderer and support the true
criminal. I hope that this is just a way for Haleigh’s family to get
her back into the media’s eye. Shed some focus on her, it is well
needed. I don’t know much about Never Lose Hope Foundation accept they
search for missing children. This Candle light vigil is nation wide
that day. There is one set up in Roseburg Oregon let me tell you
something about Oregonians we love a candle lighting. So I am going to
keep watch of the news I would like to see what its about.
I only have few concerns with Haleigh being mixed up with NLHF and
CMAF and thats the past actions of the Anthony’s. I understand they
lost a grandchild and don’t want to lose a daughter. I can empathize to
a point for them. I just think that Haleigh could be represented in a
better way other then through this. Yes she needs the attention I for
one fully understand that fact. Is this the right attention to be
linked to the CMAF? I just don’t see the positive light in it. Haleigh
already has so much negative aspects hindering her recovery. There is a
cast of characters in this mix that drives you up a wall, I just don’t
think that the Anthony’s are the attention Haleigh needs through all of
this. But thats just my opinion.
I just wonder what type of advice and goodwill the Anthony’s will
extend to Haleigh’s family I am rather interested in finding out. I
will be making sure to stay tuned to the event. The vigil is going to
be on May 17, 2009 between 7-8pm.

SATSUMA, FL -- The father of Haleigh Cummings, the little girl
missing since February, is speaking publicly in cyberspace. His
attorney, T. Jerry Snider, is also talking on camera for the first time.
In a short video clip on his attorney's web site, Ronald Cummings
thanked all the volunteers who had spent long hours searching for his
daughter when she disappeared.
Cummings also asked people not to give up in the search. Haleigh's
father made a long pause before making a plea for someone to call in
that critical tip to bring Haleigh home.
"Please, please keep looking, keep calling in the tips," said Cummings.
"And Haleigh, if you're watching, baby I love you, we're still looking for you."
Haleigh Cummings hasn't been seen since she went to bed on the night
of February 9 at her home in Satsuma. Misty Croslin, Ronald's
girlfriend at the time, put her to bed and then called 911.
Croslin and Cummings have since married.
If you know where Haleigh Cummings is, call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS. You will remain anonymous. The reward for Haleigh's safe return is up to $36,000.

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Three months have gone by since 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings vanished in the middle of the night from her Putnam County home.Haleigh's
father, Ronald Cummings, and her grandmother, Teresa Neves, sat down
with Channel 4 Thursday and asked again for the safe return of their
little girl."Please bring her home. Please bring her home safe.
If you're watching, baby, I love you. I'll never give up on you,"
Cummings said.He has made the same desperate plea since Feb. 10, and he vowed to never give up on his daughter. He
and Neves showed Channel 4 new pictures of the bright-eyed, smiling
kindergartner. A lot has changed since she was last seen tucked into
bed in her Satsuma home. Her bicycle and other toys once scattered the
yard; however, the home once filled with children's laughter is now
quiet."You just take it one day at a time, and you keep praying," Neves said.Cummings
has lost his job. He and his new wife, Misty Croslin, live with his
great grandmother. Two pro-bono attorneys are representing Cummings."We
have the job situation and the child custody situation, and everybody
knows. The media has covered it, and it's been tough," said attorney
Jerry Snider. While much has changed, nightly vigils for Haleigh are still being held and her family continues to hold on to hope."I know that somebody has my little girl, and I know that she's a strong little girl," Neves said.Investigators Dedicated To Solving Haleigh Case
As the search for Haleigh continues, investigators said they have not been getting all the help they need to solve the case."They've
looked at around 4,000 leads. They've interviewed around 200 people,"
said Major Gary Bowling, of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. He said they still don't have a complete timeline of the hours before Haleigh disappeared."I
just think we'd like people to fill in some gaps better, specifically
going toward the timeline you're talking about," Bowling said.He said the last person to see Haleigh, Croslin, has been cooperative but inconsistent."There are inconsistencies that have remained since the beginning," Bowling said.He also said other people aren't giving them the whole truth."It's
not just one individual that we want to fill in those gaps," Bowling
said. "All of the reasons people would be fearful about cooperating
with police are all roadblocks here."Roadblocks in the case are
what the Haleigh Bug Foundation has been trying to help overcome.
Haleigh's mother's attorney opened the Haleigh Bug Foundation in
Satsuma, where they're gathering information from the community to help
police and do what they can to keep the missing girl's picture in the
public. As friends and family continue hold out hope,
investigators said they are doing the same and hoping that today is the
day they'll get a break in the case."When every second of the timeline is filled in, then well know what's happened to Haleigh," Bowling said.

Haleigh Cummings: A Bondsman, A Lawyer And A Criminal

TJ Hart update 5/14/09
About ten days ago, I was meeting with bondsman/private investigator/ surety agent William “Cobra” Staubs. We were trying to catch up on the various leads, but his cell phone kept ringing with people calling and offering him more leads on the Haleigh case and others asking him when he was going to pick up a wanted woman in South Florida.
I just looked out over the St. John’s River and took in the lovely view each time he picked up the phone. That is, until one very angry sounding black male called him and started cussing him up one side and down the other.
I couldn’t help but overhear most of that conversation with those two yelling at the top of their lungs.
The man who called Staubs was an alleged local drug dealer/pimp and businessman named Jerome Raymond Williams. I had run into Williams myself just days earlier when I videotaped Staubs pulling Christina Rene “Nay Nay” Prevatt out of an alleged crack house/3-bed whore house to have her bond revoked. You’ve seen Williams and that apartment building, too, on that video seen previously on this site and on national television on HLN’s ISSUES with Jane Velez-Mitchell.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KvAPWG9wOE
Staubs somehow got Jerome Williams to settle down. They started talking in street language and then progressed to a loud, but more normal sounding conversation.
Williams told Staubs to stop cruising through his area. He said it was “messin’ up his business.”
That’s when Staubs told Williams that he would gladly leave his area alone once he found Haleigh Cummings.
Williams paused for a moment. “If I help you get the little girl, you’ll leave me the hell alone?” asked Williams.
“Yep,” said Staubs. “You help me find the girl and I am out of here—back to the 3-0-5!”
Williams mumbled something about the “his girls talkin,” and then I couldn’t hear anything else. Their voices returned to a normal volume.
In the meanwhile, Christina “Nay Nay” Prevatt was taken off suicide watch and later released from the Putnam County Jail on a bond from Chuck’s Bail Bonds. That bond was secured by Daniel Bass, the owner of the alleged crack house/whore house you just saw in the video. Bass is a registered child sex offender….and so is Chuck, Charles Ingram, of Chuck’s Bail Bonds. The once-jailed former Palatka police officer transfered the ownership of his operation to his wife, but he still participates in the business.
Staubs spoke to me Thursday to recap all of this.
AUDIO (R rated language): Staubs discusses the bondsman issue and his attempts to cooperate with Williams

I then discovered that South Florida Attorney Kim Picazio has also been trying to get some cooperation from Williams as well. Ms. Picazio spoke with me about it Thursday afternoon.

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
Early in the search for Haleigh Cummings, Putnam County detectives
posted a family tree on their office wall to keep track of and explore
any intertwined connections in the case.
A little more than three months later, investigators said they are
no closer to finding the 5-year-old girl whose bright smile adorns
buttons, posters, T-shirts and the hearts of a community.
In the same time, troubles that follow her family have left investigators sensing someone connected to them knows more.
"There is a lot going on with this family," said Dick Schauland,
spokesman for the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. "We still can't get a
straight line with what is going on with this thing."
Since Haleigh was reported missing from a Satsuma mobile home early
Feb. 10, national attention to the case has brought in more than 4,000
leads.
Detectives continue to sift through the tips but come back to the
all-important timeline in an attempt to define what was going on in the
days before Haleigh vanished.
From events in the case, these are brief snapshots of some of the people in the ongoing mystery.
Still missing
Haleigh Cummings: The kindergartner at Browning Pearce Elementary
School disappeared from her bed sometime between 10 p.m., Feb. 9, and 3
a.m., Feb. 10. Her father's girlfriend said she woke up to find her
missing from the same room where they were sleeping with Haleigh's
younger brother.
A screen door propped open with a brick was one of the only clues
detectives found in days of intense searching on land and water.
Family players
Ronald Cummings: Haleigh's 25-year-old father has a history of minor
drug arrests and has shown flashes of violent behavior. On the 911 call
he was convinced someone abducted his daughter and vowed to kill them.
He has been living with his grandmother after losing his job for not
making arrangements to keep it, though his attorneys say he was told he
would be reinstated.
Court affidavits in a 2005 custody case with Haleigh's mother,
Crystal Sheffield, accuse him of abuse and that "his chosen lifestyle
and illegal business actions pose a severe risk to the children."
Cummings has another child with Sheffield and a disabled toddler son
with another woman. He was never married to either of his children's
mothers. He married underage Misty Croslin with permission from her
parents a little more than a month after Haleigh's disappearance.
Misty Croslin Cummings: Croslin was 16 when she went to live with
Cummings last year and was the one who reported Haleigh missing. On the
weekend before Haleigh disappeared, Croslin was reported to have had a
tryst with a 28-year-old while partying after a fight with Cummings.
Detectives say she has changed her story about the disappearance in 10
interviews.
She and Cummings were married the day before traveling to New York
for a live appearance on "Today" to discuss Haleigh's disappearance.
Crystal Sheffield: Haleigh's 23-year-old mother began living with
Cummings when she was 14 and was pregnant with Haleigh at 17. Sheffield
has been separated from Cummings since 2005. She has not had custody of
their daughter or son, Ronald Jr., since then and now has a second
daughter. Lack of employment, previous drug use and several missed
doctor's appointments for Haleigh were discussed in the custody papers.
She owes Cummings thousands in child support.
At the Haleigh Bug Center, a small roadside outpost in southern
Putnam County that uses a nickname for her missing daughter, Sheffield
and her supporters attempt to keep the public focused on the case. When
she is not there, Sheffield is at home in Baker County with her younger
daughter, where she lives with her fiancee, who is her stepbrother, and
his two children.
Family connections
Hank Croslin: He and his wife gave legal consent for their
daughter's marriage to Cummings. Weeks later, he filed a complaint with
the Putnam County Sheriff's Office to say his new son-in-law gave him a
pill that was supposed to help with pain from a serious traffic
accident but instead put him in a coma. In the incident report, he said
Cummings often gave him pain pills.
He later denied that Cummings gave him pills at any time or that he
feared his son-in-law, according to a release from Cummings' attorney.
Joseph Overstreet: A Croslin family relative from Tennessee,
Overstreet was accused of stealing a gun from Ronald Cummings soon
after arriving for a visit. He left Putnam County the day Haleigh
disappeared. His cousin, Misty Croslin, said Overstreet had "messed"
with her when both were young.
Investigators cleared Overstreet of involvement in the disappearance.
Amber Brooks: She is the 20-year-old mother of Cummings' other son,
Jordan, who is disabled. Brooks has been arrested on drug charges,
including attempting to smuggle cocaine into jail following an arrest
in April at a Palatka motel known for drug activity. She also was
charged in January with drug possession.
Croslin was a baby sitter for Brooks and met Cummings after telling him Brooks was leaving her with the baby for long periods.
Street connections
Kristina "Nay Nay" Prevatt: A friend of Brooks, she was arrested
with her at the Palatka motel in April and charged with attempting to
smuggle drugs into the jail. In all, four people were arrested on drug
possession charges in that case.
Prevatt also is an acquaintance of Misty Croslin and was with her
the weekend before Haleigh disappeared. The two spent time partying
with Greg "White Boy" Page. She caused a stir when a radio station
reported investigators had a break in the case because she was in
custody. The Sheriff's Office said there was no connection.
Greg "White Boy" Page: On the weekend before Haleigh disappeared
during a night of partying and drugs, Page said he hooked up with Misty
Croslin with the help of Prevatt after her fight with Cummings. Page,
who recently said he hadn't talked with her since, also has several
drug arrests and was sentenced to six months in jail in 2008 for
selling pot.
Outside connections
Kim Picazio: A South Florida attorney who is representing Sheffield
for free, Picazio has made no bones about her determination to have
Ronald Jr. taken from his father. She has met with the state Department
of Children and Families, and the agency is investigating her
allegations. Picazio also is paying for running the Haleigh Bug Center
and said she has rented a house in Putnam for use by staffers who come
and go from South Florida. Picazio has sponsored an online site
www.haleighbug.com that offers a link for those who have tips in the
case.
William "Cobra" Staubs: A private investigator and bounty hunter,
Staubs is an associate of Picazio's and is conducting much of her
investigation. He once bailed Prevatt out of jail and returned her for
breaking conditions of her release.
Early in the case, he was charged with false imprisonment after
accosting Daniel Snodgrass, a Satsuma man who was free on bail on a sex
charge involving children.
Greg Kimball and T. Jerry Snider: The Palatka attorneys are
representing Cummings, also for free. The firm has used news releases
to refute accusations that Cummings is an abusive father and created an
online site www.findhaleighnow.com to support a continued search for
Haleigh.

LAKE MARY, Fla. -- It's been more than three months since 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings disappeared from her home in Putnam County.Sunday night, friends and supporters of Haleigh's family were in Central Florida for a vigil in the missing child's honor. Her
family has been pleading for the public's help in finding the girl, but
keeping constant media attention on Haleigh and many other missing
children has proven difficult for families nationwide. That's why
there's a group called the National Coalition to Bring Awareness to
Missing Children and Adults that has chosen to have an annual event at
locations throughout the country to spotlight these cases. The
group picked Lake Mary because of it's proximity for committee members,
as opposed to Satsuma, where Haleigh disappeared from. Her biological mother, Crystal Sheffield, was scheduled to speak. In March, Sheffield said on WESH 2 News, "Haleigh, if you're watching, I love you and I miss you."Haleigh's
father's side of the family did not attend, but slain toddler Caylee
Anthony's grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony, were there.

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
By Art Harris, The Bald Truth, (c) artharris.com, all rights reservedThe Bald Truth has learned that a convicted Palatka, Florida drug dealer who was arrested again Tuesday night on drug trafficking
charges claimed to be using his street sources to help find clues into
what happened to missing five year old Haleigh Cummings. That’s what thirty seven year old Jerome Raymond Williams told me last week in an exclusive interview after discovering
two women he’d recently helped bail out of jail had ties to Haleigh
Cummings’ family he figured he might be able to exploit in an attempt
to cut himself a better deal with upcoming drug charges.Indeed, Williams told The Bald Truth before his latest arrest he was exploring options with the hard-working missing child task force that hoped the career criminal might be the break they’d been waiting for.“We thought we had something special with Williams,” confided one law enforcement source who spoke on condition of anonymity, explaining how investigators often have to tap dance with the devil to solve unsolved mysteries like Haleigh Cummings.Unfortunately,
said the source, the drug dealer turned out to be a bust–a ‘VERY dead
link to the case.” Out of some 4,000 leads police have chased, so many
seemed promising, only to lead to another dead end. There
was cousin Joe in Tennessee who Misty Croslin’s family fingered as
their favorite suspect – only police couldn’t tie him to the crime….A
so called Haleigh sighting by a government scientist at a beauty parlor outside Nashville:
a woman with a tan wearing flip flops and blue jean cutoffs in winter
and a little girl the witness swore to be the missing five year old,
another bust…a Chad Griffis ’”ex” whose family believed might have had
it in for Crystal Sheffield for stealing her man and raising her
kids…”We thought that was hot, too,” an investigator told me, “but it’s not on the radar anymore.”It
keeps coming back to the missing hours Misty Cummings can’t account for
on the night Haleigh vanished, and a timeline investigators tell me they are still trying to corraborate. Then along comes Williams.Williams and 30 year old Courtney Renee Leonard were taken into custody Tuesday night after undercover drug officers suckered the ex-con into trading prescription painkillers for what they dangled as stolen TVs, radios and a radar detector, according to the Putnam County Sheriff. .According
to a roommate who shared a triplex with Williams behind the Huddle
House in Palatka, he offered a stranger four Loritabs for electronics
gear. Drug officers from Putnam and St. John’s Counties, and the
Palatka, PD, had been watching Williams, who arranged to meet the
undercover officer in a parking lot.According to police, both Williams and Leonard drove up, and after a little horse-trading, she offered to buy one TV for cash; while Jerome clinched a deal to trade Loritabs for electronics. Afterwards, police found illegal and prescription drugs in Williams’ car, including crack and powder cocaine, and an assortment of pills—Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Diazepam, Cyclobenzapine and Clonazepam.Williams was charged with two counts of drug trafficking and cocaine possession with intent to sell, possession of a schedule II controlled substance with the intent to sell, possession of a schedule IV substance with the intent to sell, possession of a legend drug without a prescription, possession of a legend drug with the intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug conveyance and dealing in stolen property, according to the sheriff..Officers also served two outstanding warrants for trafficking in Hydrocodone
and two counts for selling cocaine. Williams was booked into the Putnam
County jail, where Chuck’s Bail Bonds sprung him earlier this month,
and had helped arrange bond for Christina Prevatt, aka Nay Nay, and
Amber Brooks, Ronald Cummings ex girlfriend and mother of his son,
Jordan, after Cobra first rounded them up and bailed them out. Cobra,
the nickname adopted by private eye and surety agent William Staubs,
had this idea he’d use the girls to cruise the crack dens and try to
shake up and shake loose tips from the same crowd they’d partied with
the last weekend before Haleigh went missing—when Nay Nay was driving
Misty Cummings on her revenge romance in the arms of “White Boy” Greg
Page after a dust up with Ronald. At one party, Nay Nay says
Misty nearly came to blows with Amber Brooks, after needling her on My
Space about stealing her man, and how she aimed to get her baby, too, a
disabled boy named Jordan whose paternity she confirmed when Jerome
handed her the phone.“Yep, Ronald’s name is on the birth certificate,” she told me last week after bonding out courtesy of Chuck’s Bail Bonds.Charles Durwood Ingram, 49, a former Palatka police officer… is the Chuck behind Chuck’s Bail Bonds, a registered sex offender who plead guilty to lewd and lascivious assault on a child in 2002. After he was sentenced to four years in prison and 11 years probation, he served two years, and began registering as a sex offender, which by statute, barred from the bail bond business. Records show he transferred
title to his wife, but when I dropped by the office in a strip mall the
other day, there he was, gaunt and goateed, sitting behind a desk;
locals say he can be seen riding around town with his wife when she
drops off bonds at the jail to spring steady clients like Jerome
Williams.“Chuck takes care of me,” says Jerome of the former
bondsman who declined comment. Asked about his status as a convicted
sexual predator, Jerome told me that “Chuck says he was set up and
framed.”“If you were set up, why would you plead guilty to go to
prison and go on the books as a sexual predator?” asks Putnam County
Sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Johnny Greenwood, who investigated the case and interviewed the victim. “I just presented my facts and statements. He took the deal. If it was me and I didn’t do something, I’m gonna fight it for sure.”But with no bond imposed for his new trafficking charges, Chuck’s long-time client was out of luck this time, and The Bald Truth has learned Jerome was transferred Wednesday to a secure facility in St. John’s County.“He asked to be moved,” says Lt. Greenwood. “There were a lot of guys in jail in Putnam County he’d had dealings with in the past he might be facing as a co defendants in the future. He expressed his concerns (to the jail) that, ‘Hey, these guys know me.” So he was moved for security reasons.”His co-defendant, Courtney Leonard, remained in Putnam jail, charged with dealing in stolen property; her bond has been set at $2,504.00————————-Jerome’s
phone went to voice mail when I tried him today. Last week, he sure was
sounding upbeat. He’d buried the hatchet with Cobra, after the
self-proclaimed “hillbilly” went toe to toe with the drug dealer
and alleged pimp for taking Amber and Nay Nay under wing after they
were bailed out.At first baffled over how he was suddenly in everybody’s crosshairs,
on the one hand he told me he was worried locals would think him a
snitch, yet he was boasting to another Palatka bail bondsman that he
was a bankrobber who took “federal money,” and a “drug dealer like my Daddy.”‘That’s what he said in our office when they were trying to get one of the girls’ bonds transferred from Cobra to him, “ recalls A-1 Bail Bonds owner Donna Jaquith. “He was yelling and screaming and acting like an asshole.”Last
month, Amber was booked into the county slammer on a Friday night, on
the same cocaine and failure to appear charges that landed her there
originally.Only that time, it wasn’t “Cobra” Staubs who
bailed her out (within the hour), but Chuck’s Bail Bonds, the same
local outfit that put Misty party pal Prevatt, 18, aka, Nay Nay, back
on the streets after jail docs took her of suicide watch. That release, while legally kosher, irked investigators with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department
who tell me they’d hoped she’d detox for a few days in jail and clear
her head enough to remember something useful to their investigation into the missing five year old.It
was Prevatt who told The Bald Truth she drove Misty (then Croslin) on a
three day binge of parties, drugs, and sex, the weekend before Haleigh
turned up missing. After they were arrested together earlier this
month, it was Cobra who bonded them out for Donna Jaquith’s A-1 Bail
Bonds, a Chuck rival, to cruise the drug netherworld of Putnam County in search of tipsters who might know something, anything. Then
Nay Nay tried to snatch her 9 month old from the child’s father and
sent a suicide threat text message to Kim Picazio, the family law
attorney for Crystal Sheffield who has been trying to encourage Prevatt
to go into rehab. “She actually called to ask if we could pick her up
from a drug house the other night, that she didn’t want to be around
it, or do it,” Picazio tells me.Then she was back with Williams,
who, according to Picazio, took the girls clothes when they were
staying with him so they couldn’t run away. When I got Jerome on his
cell phone two weeks ago, he confirmed Amber Brooks had been was
staying with him, too.According to Picazio, he’s been furious at
Cobra for cruising through the ‘hood and driving customers away, and
Staubs tells me that before their detete, he was interrogating a witness in a cheap motel when Jerome pounded on the door and demanded Cobra stay away, or else, then began threatening his witness.Moments later, Staubs was detailing that encounter for detectives, when 911 calls came from the motel. Then,
Amber Brooks turned herself into the Jail; Chuck’s bailed her out; she
moved into Jerome’s studio with Christina Prevatt, aka Nay Nay, and the
convicted felon realized he might have two golden girls who could come
in handy as part of a radical makeover he was considering after
warming to attorney Kim Picazio who describes feeling out of place as
she hopped out of her green Hummer in an Eli Tahari suit and high heels
and sat in the tiny apartment with Williams, the girls and three beds.
“I was polite and just treated him like a human being, and he was all
ears,” she tells me. In fact, he actually considered allowing Nay Nay to go into rehab, says Picazio, and seemed hopeful about a fresh start.“I’m
gonna do what I can to find that missing little girl,” Williams told me
in a late night call last week after starting to understand how might benefit from ties to Misty Cummings galpal “Nay Nay” and Amber Brooks.Sources tell me Williams recently met with Putnam County sheriff’s investigators,
who, after three months of dead ends, were ready to entertain how the
drug dealer might help them. After all, there was an immunity offer on
the table for anyone, even a dealer with a past, if he could help bring
Haleigh home.No specifics were ever discussed, sources tell
me, but Williams implied he might know drug dealers who knew Misty.
Only his wheeling and alleged dealing apparently rocked on, and the triplex where he was staying behind the Huddle House in Palatka hit vice cops radar. On one visit, Picazio tells me she met a Williams friend named Daniel Bass, 47, a registered
sex offender who called himself the landlord. Picazio says she warned
him he might need to evict a needy family with young children in the
complex, if children of a certain age nearby violated terms of his sex
offender status. Then came Tuesday night’s bust. “Nay Nay” was not arrested. Picazio who has been checking up on her between representing Crystal Sheffield in her bitter custody dispute with Ronald Cummings, and pressing her case with Florida’s Department of Family and Children, got her on the phone.“She
told me, ‘Kim, I didn’t have anything on me,’” says Picazio, who has
been urging Prevatt to seek drug rehab and lobbying Jerome to let her
go if she wants help. Police tell me they’d wanted Nay Nay in jail to
“dry out” and get her head clear enough to remember anything she might
have forgotten in previous interviews about Misty Cummings.Investigators have interviewed Misty at least 10 times—and tell me they are still trying to reconcile “inconsistencies” in her stories, and plug timelines in others.Meanwhile,
her husband, Ronald, has been asked to return for another police
interview with his attorney, Greg Kimball, “to clear up a few things,
minor stuff,” a task force member tells me. But that pow-wow has yet to
occur. My sources also maintain police still do not believe it’s a stranger abduction,
more likely someone “in the loop” of Haleigh’s family and friends whose
name may have not yet surfaced. “We’ve got to keep an open door and an
open mind,” says a source close to the case.
charges claimed to be using his street sources to help find clues into
what happened to missing five year old Haleigh Cummings.
Records show he transferred
title to his wife, but when I dropped by the office in a strip mall the
other day, there he was, gaunt and goateed, sitting behind a desk;
locals say he can be seen riding around town with his wife when she
drops off bonds at the jail to spring steady clients like Jerome

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
The father of a missing Satsuma girl made a video plea last week asking people not to forget his daughter.
"Don't give up. It's been a long time, but she's still out there
somewhere. And the one tip that you think might be nothing might be the
one that brings her home, and we still need her to come home," Ronald
Cummings said in a short video posted on the Web site www.findhaleighnow.com."Haleigh, if you're watching, baby, I love you, and we're still looking for you," he said.More
than three months since Haleigh Cummings was last seen, the same
message of persistence and hope was voiced at the Haleigh Bug Center.
The purple office building next to U.S. 17 in Putnam County is dotted
with faux butterflies and features a banner with the child's picture."It's
to keep Haleigh's face out there as much as possible," Don Knop said
before hanging the banner. Knop has been helping at the center, acting
as needed as a manager, director and volunteer. The single-story
office collects donations to aid in the search for "Haleigh Bug," as
her dad calls her, and offers a tip line, as does the Web site www.haleighbug.com.Until
recently, the office also had been a place where the girl's mother,
Crystal Sheffield, could stay and remain near the location where her
child was last seen.Sheffield lives in Baker County and traveled
back and forth between the two counties until Knop and her attorney,
Kim Picazio, said she was told to get some rest.Sheffield has
had seizures, including one while she was driving and another at the
center where she fell and hit her head, Picazio and law enforcement
said. Doctors have not been able to determine a cause, said Picazio,
who indicated stress might be a factor. But the news Haleigh's
neighbors want isn't from the families, but from investigators, who
have remained quiet about the case except to say they still are
searching.Putnam County Sheriff's Capt. Dick Schauland stressed
that if the agency had information that would lead to the girl's safe
return, investigators would release it regardless of the impact on the
case. For now, however, he said the agency continues to follow up
leads and re-interview people close to Haleigh depending on what new
information comes forward. About 200 to 300 interviews have been
conducted in the case, he said, with some people interviewed as many as
10 times."At this point, I would have to tell you we don't know
where Haleigh is, and we don't know what has happened to her. Nobody
has been named as a suspect. Nobody has been disqualified," Schauland
said. "It is a mystery. It really is."The Sheriff's Office has
had more than 4,000 leads, with tips still coming in - but not at the
furious pace as at the beginning of the investigation, and no recent
reports that anyone has seen Haleigh, Schauland said.Detective Peggy Cone now is the lead investigator, Schauland said. The law enforcement agency estimated it had spent about $66,000 on 2,279 hours of overtime in the search.Schauland
and Picazio both said there is an ongoing investigation involving
Haleigh and the Florida Department of Children and Families. Picazio
said the investigation, prompted from various sources throughout the
community, involves Ronald Cummings, who had custody of Haleigh at the
time of her disappearance.Schauland wouldn't confirm the subject of the DCF investigation. One
of the neighbors who lives near the home where Haleigh was last seen
says he thinks the Sheriff's Office knows more than it's saying."When
they get the puzzle all together, the public will know about it. The
law has its privilege of keeping things to itself," said James
Batchelor, 88.Looking out at the neighborhood from his front
porch, Batchelor said things are quieter. The tents and vehicles
associated with the search for Haleigh have mostly left.Another
neighbor, however, said Haleigh's disappearance followed by the
concentration of police, onlookers and news media was too much. Asking
not to be named, she said she and her husband are trying to sell their
home. The woman said she doesn't feel safe anymore and that
living in a neighborhood frequented by law enforcement wasn't her idea
of moving away from the big-city experience in Orlando.Batchelor said he believes the case will be solved."I
hope to God she will," he said when asked if he thought Haleigh could
be recovered safe. "I believe it will be solved. I hope so because that
little angel didn't deserve what happened to her."

Breaking News - Haleigh Cummings – More Insanity In Putnam County

OK, this is hitting a little close to home. Now it is the good guys that are getting the raw deal. Not all the facts are in, but it looks like William “Cobra” Staubs is headed to jail. In what I can only call the stupidest piece of police work in history they are slapping a false imprisonment rap on him!
Details are a little sketchy at this time but as they come in I will update this story.
This story has its roots in an incident that occurred weeks ago. A known sex offender tried to donate some furniture to the Haleigh Bug center, and was sent packing when they discovered that he was on a $78,000 bond concerning some pedophile charges.
At some point there was a communication by the insurance company and Cobra. Cobra talked to the offender and when he got lippy, Cobra cuffed him. It seems that the insurance company then got cold feet, and asked Cobra to release him, in fact drive him home. The offender was quickly released by Cobra.
It transpires that the accused, a Mr. Snodgrass immediately went to the Putnam County Police and spoke with a Detective Taylor. And it was indeed this same detective that contacted Cobra this afternoon to inform him that there is an arrest warrant out for William Staubs.
Now Putnam County have decided to take Cobra to task. We in the news media following this case are mortified that this has happened. We are a close knit group and share information that does not always make the press. It has been well known that there is little love lost between the Putnam County cops and Cobra for quite some time. As I see it they would like nothing more than to get Cobra out of the picture, and this looks like their opening move.
Cobra is an honorable man and plans on turning himself in. The phone calls, emails, and text messages are flying so fast at the moment that I could only talk to Cobra for a couple of minutes. This whole story only erupted about an hour ago.
As I mentioned earlier, as more details come in, we will keep you updated.
Cobra’s current plan is to drive up to Putnam County first thing in the morning and surrender himself. My press friends will be there to report.
I class Cobra as a friend, and a very honorable person, this move is about as low as anyone can get.
You can bet that this will get a big splash from the media.
We here at BNN wish Cobra the best, and you can bet your bottom dollar we will be following this act of crass stupidity.
Why pick on someone that is just trying to help? I asked that question of another journalist friend this morning, and the reply was “I don’t know, you would think they would like the help”.
I am seething over this development, as are several other journalists. It does nothing to help find Haleigh Cummings, all it does is create another sideshow.
The question in my mind is why now? Well it might have something to do with a few comments he made on our radio show last Sunday, you can catch the recording here.

This incident happened weeks ago, why the delay? Well there has been some very bad blood flowing for the past couple of weeks between Cobra and some of the other players. This is neither the time nor the place to talk about that, but in my mind it is a contributing factor.
I am scared brother, jail is not a good place for me
I Just hope I don’t get shanked!

Haleigh Cummings: At What Cost?

Satsuma, Florida- What webs we weave I like to say, in the midst of the search effort for my girl Haleigh we have stumbled upon a brier patch. At the bottom of the thorns is quick sand. There are side shows going on around this investigation that is enough to make you ill. I am most concerned with the Anthony’s and their insistence on becoming support for Haleigh’s search, its a horrendous idea to allow people who don’t have the first clue on searching and recovering anything to support the search of a missing child. Where are their credentials for all of this? Does that fancy low grade bass boat make them qualified enough, is it the ATV that makes them qualified to search for a missing child? I haven’t seen one thing that qualifies them to be out searching for a needle in a haystack. Give me a break, and they want to extend support to Haleigh’s search. It blows my mind, Haleigh’s image should not be for use by the Anthony’s or any of their cohorts. Haleigh is much to fragile and unstable to be preyed upon by the Anthony’s, why? What is their purpose for wanting to swoop in suddenly and be Haleigh’s saving grace. Makes me want to vomit, sorry to be so brash but its the truth, just the thought of them supporting Haleigh’s search in anyway makes me ill. They are not in anyway qualified to be involved or lend their support to Haleigh’s search. There has been many tail feathers ruffled at a connection I made between them and Michelle Bart with her Never Lose Hope Foundation, it was only at the time in regards to the vigil held Sunday night in Florida where Haleigh’s mother, Crystal and grandmother Marie Griffis were in attendance.
It was all over the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation website, it was all over the Caylee Marie Anthony Myspace page, I have sources who received the same lay out of the event in email that was on the CMAF website. They invited themselves Michelle and NLHF foundation had no clue they was crashing the party, I don’t believe it. All one needs to do is read the internet to see and connect the dots, there is much side shows and drama saturating Haleigh’s disappearance its unbelievable, this bothers me. Haleigh does not need these people in her corner. She does not need people who are willing to lie regardless of consequence and effects. The Anthony’s to this very day this second accuse the fantasy Nanny Z. the perfect 10 woman, rich in cars and homes as being Caylee’s killer. How can they be of any support to Haleigh? Her disappearance is not in any way shape of form like Caylee’s murder, Caylee was murdered by her mother. What are they going to do for Haleigh print fliers, make t-shirts, sit at a display and finger print children and give out water while others search for her on foot in the swamps and woods? Maybe sale some rubber bracelets? I don’t see how them sitting at a display booth or on a bass fishing boat is going to help find Haleigh. What more do they have to offer then anyone else out searching for Haleigh? Cobra for example, makes me giggle, besides law enforcement I would take Cobra out searching for my missing child over the Anthony’s or Michelle Bart any day. He has the credentials and the experience in investigating, searching and recovering people. He is more qualified then either of those organizations put together to be out searching for a missing child. Haleigh needs him on her side, not “foundations” to hand out water and fliers or to sell t-shirts and bracelets. She needs folks pounding the pavement, rattling cages, shaken things up. Not sitting in the sun doing nothing but spitting in the wind. Efforts that create a tsunami not cloud the pool, I have seen more from Cobra then anyone out there looking for her. I am not in any way putting law enforcement investigators down they just are keeping their investigation to themselves, its understandable, but as a reporter I have to have other sources for my information and I have credible sources regardless of what some may think. I would trust my sources over any person any time, no matter who tells me “I am the source”.
I don’t know where the dots begin or where they might possibly end, I have only connected a couple, I get the feeling the dots could be like the stars in the sky, the only one I am concerned with is the Anthony’s and their foundation supporting my girl Haleigh’s search, all the others can piss up a rope as far as I care. People can come at me and try to change my mind, and try and force me to admit a wrong I will not, I do not think the Anthony’s and their foundation and all that follow behind them like a pack of vultures need to be supporting Haleigh’s search. It boils my blood to think of Haleigh being plastered up on their billboards. They support a child killer, they wear their flags of support whenever in the media eye, the green shamrock pin, Cindy wears it every time she is on the television. That is her support of her daughter the child killer Casey Anthony. I don’t support child killers myself. The tie that binds I suppose, but where does the delusion and deceit end and the truth of the reality begin, when does one wake up and smell the roses, and say wow I can see clearly now? When does Caylee’s family take up her fight, and defend her to her killer? I doubt that is ever going to be achieved. Cover your own backsides is the way I see it. How can people so obviously covering up the murder of a child be fit to be out searching for any child, let alone Haleigh? Can’t accept it I just can’t. I see this from a bad lowly view, the support they want to extend to Haleigh’s search, its a terrible position to see it from. Only bad can come of their support and involvement in Haleigh’s search. I will write about it as long as there is the chance of them being involved or as long as they are if they do end up supporting Haleigh’s search. I am in this for Haleigh and her best interest, I am here for Haleigh to keep her in the know to pine for her and wait burning in that big empty desert at her crossroad. Haleigh come home, I stand with baited breath for her. If anyone thinks I will let this go and just lay down and take the Anthony’s and their foundation weaseling their way into Haleigh’s search they are wrong. I will not, I can’t its a poor choice. Haleigh doesn’t need that type of attention, it is without a doubt going to make a bigger mess then what it has turned out to be.
Haleigh is a five year old girl she has blonde hair and brown eyes, she may be disguised she is around three feet tall and weighs about thirty nine pounds. I say around and about because she has been gone long enough to grow. She has a birthmark on her left cheek. Please call Putnam County Sheriffs at (386) 329-0800 if you have any information about her. God bless you Haleigh Cummings.

BOUNTY HUNTER COBRA STAUBS ARRESTED
Posted by Blink
Palatka, FL– Talk about a change in circumstances. The bounty hunter had to turn himself into Police today on charges he falsely imprisoned a man awaiting trial on sex offenses to a child. William Snodgrass alleges Cobra Staubs handcuffed him and detained him against his will for one hour while questioning whether he had anything to do with the disappearance of Haleigh Ann Marie Cummings. It is not known at this time if Kim Picazio, attorney to Crystal Sheffield will represent Staub’s in these charges, but the pair are admitted friends. Bail is set at $5004.00

William “Cobra” Staubs – What Really Happened In Putnam County Today

Cobra has been tirelessly looking for the missing girl, Haleigh Cummings. Of course not all help is viewed as useful. And certainly Cobra has created a certain amount of havoc in his investigations. He is a rough and ready guy, he is also the nicest man you could ever meet. It is an overused phrase, but Cobra is the guy that would give you the shirt off his back.
I reported yesterday that an arrest warrant had been issued for Cobra, and he is a man of his word, an honorable man. He said that he would turn himself in to Putnan County early this morning, and he did just that.
When I spoke to him, and some other people yesterday, the game plan was to already have the Bond filed, and it should just be a question of walking in, filling out the forms, a picture, and fingerprints and walk out again.
Of course the best laid plans of men and mice do have a tendency of going astray. Today was a fine example, a telling example. Know your friends before trusting them.
The bond had been arranged through a local company, a company that Cobra had some previous dealings with. (It won’t take much research to find the name, but I for one do not wish to publish it!). He arrived at the appointed time, all of the paperwork was in order, and the bond company went in and posted it.
Cobra then surrendered to the police, and was processed. All was going well, he had just been told that he was free to go, when the phone rang, the bond company had changed their mind! The door was locked, Cobra was led to the holding cells, forced to strip (likely not a pretty sight) and made to put on prison garb.
According to reports a second local bondsman refused to help, offering the sage advice ‘you are going away for a long time’. That statement blew my mind, Cobra always talks in such glowing terms about the brothers and sisters in the trade, and how they look after each other.
The good news is, there are decent people in this world, a bond company out of Miami stepped in, and after two hours behind bars Cobra was freed.
Needless to say Cobra Staubs is absolutely fuming over this entire fiasco, and I do not blame him.
I’ll share a secret with you all, yesterday morning there were a flurry of phone calls and emails between us press types, and we had decided to drop a particular line of questioning as it was not helping the search for Haleigh, it was counterproductive. Well I think that line of questioning is now back on the table.
Clearly the major thrust is to find Haleigh Cummings, and in my eyes there are only two people actually engaged on that mission, to slap felony charges on Cobra is insanity.
I will have more information tomorrow, but we do plan on running a radio show on Sunday. Cobra will be on, and it will be a cracker!

Update TJ Hart unedited report
A South Florida bondsman who is conducting his own investigation into the disappearance of 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings of Satsuma surrendered to authorities at the Putnam County Jail Friday morning.
William “Cobra” Staubs is charged with false imprisonment.
Staubs was accused of illegally detaining a Putnam County man who was free on bail on a sex abuse charge several weeks ago.
Last month, deputies say Staubs apprehended and handcuffed William Snodgrass, 55, who in 2007 was charged with capital sexual battery of a 9-year-old girl. Deputies say Snodgrass was held for an hour.
AUDIO: William “Cobra” Staubs
Staubs bonded out early Friday afternoon. Staubs spoke with 97.3 The SKY and leveled some accusations that the attorney for Haleigh Cummings’ mother, Kim Picazio, may have been involved in having him arrested and could have also had a hand in the delay of his release from the Putnam County Jail.
AUDIO: William “Cobra” Staubs
97.3 The SKY spoke with attorney Kim Picazio shortly after Staubs made his statement. Picazio sounded shocked and a bit angry at the allegations. Picazio said,”This is not The Cobra Show! This is The Haleigh Cummings Show! We need to turn the channel and start watching again The Haleigh Cummings Show because this is about a missing little girl.”

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
We will be running our regular radio show on Sunday, 05/24 at 3PM
Central. Once again we will be focusing on the Haleigh Cummings story.
With it being a long weekend TJ Hart and Art Harris cannot be with us,
but the rest of the gang will be with us, Jan Barrett, Ms Pickles, and
Denny Griffin. Also joining us will be investigator and bailbondsman
William “Cobra” Staubs.
The big excitement this week was what happened to William “Cobra” Staubs, they threw him in jail!
Needless to say Cobra is a little hot under the collar over this.
Cobra has very much become part of our family here at BNN, and I just
can not wait to hear his side of the story.
Based on some conversations I had with him, and some other folks
today, I would recommend that you put on your ‘anti foul-mouth ear
plugs’, as this show is likely going to be epithet laden!
One thing is clear to me, all is not well in Putnam County and Cobra
has stirred up a hornets nest. This case has done little for the public
image of this area. Drugs and violence seem to be prevalent. Even here
in small town Mississippi, population under 20,000 we have a ‘Hood’,
but it does not seem anything like what is going on in Putnam County.
Let us hope that everyone will calm down and get back to the mission of finding Haleigh Cummings.
To tune into Sundays broadcast go to www.blogtalkradio.com
a few minutes before 3pm Central and you will see the link to the show
on their front page. Incidentally for the past several weeks this talk
radio program has been the top rated News show on BTR!

With the case now almost four months old. One has to wonder, are we on a rescue or recovery mission. Those terms are used by the Coast Guard, and just about every other agency. Rescue means finding people alive, recovery means finding people dead.
Haleigh Cummings needs to have some closure, and the longer this case goes on, the stranger it becomes.
Much was talked about Polygraph tests that were given early on in the case, yet those results have not been released to the public. Of course Polygraphs are not admissible in court, but they are a wonderful tool. I have an acquaintance that worked for the FBI for many years, he is a big fan, no they don’t solve the crime, but they are a tool that leads you in a direction. That direction does solve the puzzle.
The Haleigh Cummings story is too bizarre to even think about. How can a five year old suddenly disappear from inside her home?
Much of the Main Stream Media has dropped the case, there are only a few of us that have stuck with it. But stuck we are! I know I speak for my media friends in saying that we need some leads. I do not mean that as a slight on Law Enforcement, I want to help them in their quest for justice.
We have received some information, it might be BS, or it might be real. What we are missing is a way to investigate the claim. The politics in Putnam County are so charged right now, no-one can see straight. The net result is a war. Everyone is hating everyone rather than working together.
I put some credibility to a tip we have, but what we need is a cadaver dog and a handler for two days.
I know that your initial reaction is ‘go tell the cops’, well isn’t that exactly what happened with Roy Kronk in the Caylee Anthony case? The folks in Putnam County want to do things their own way, and I guess I can not fault them for that, I likely would react the same way. They are not open to outside help.
We have been following this case from day one, here we are almost four months later, and other than some name calling, I see no forward movement. In fact I was talking to a fellow journalist today, don’t jump to conclusions, it is no-one I have ever mentioned on BNN. “The good ole boy network again” was his comment.
Lets make a real big deal out of this case! One way or another it needs to be solved.
I know damn well that certain people will read this article. Can we all just stop the vendetta and get on with finding Haleigh?
Someone with a trained cadaver dog, drop me a line, my email is zzsimonb@gmail.com . It may not solve the case, but it would close one line of thinking.

Haleigh Cummings: Rain Dance
Posted on June 3rd, 2009

Satsuma, Florida - In seven days Haleigh Cummings will be missing
for five months. Five long agonizing months, sleep lost, time lost,
nerve lost, love lost. Everything lost, why? Where did she go, this has
been the hardest five months I have ever endured personally. Torn from
her fathers home, when? No one seems to know exactly when she was
taken, the only “adult” around was Misty and for some reason she has
yet to recollect a solid time line for investigators regarding the
hours in question. There is much speculation it is because she is
hiding something for herself or someone else. There is also speculation
she is having a hard time remembering due to her drug and alcohol use.
Others speculate if it is her age, her mind is still very young and
when under the influence may not function properly. It would be nice if
they would figure it out, if she could come to some sort of epiphany as
to the hours in question. Frustrating is what it is really,
discouraging, disappointing for sure. Ron received his back owed child
support from Crystal through the generous donation from an “anonymous”
donor. Also the Haleigh Bug Headquarters in Satsuma has been relocated
to where Crystal resides on her families Hay Farm in Baker County, due
to her driving restrictions from current health issues. That’s it all
the news out of Satsuma regarding Haleigh that is worth reporting on.
Bravo right? Cheers I’m sure, Haleigh has been shoved aside so that
every so called respectable persons involved can spew there own agenda
for there own gain. I have a stack of updates from my source a pile of
rubbish is what it is. Not news worthy in any sense, oh I’m sure more
then one person would love to gain a platform to spew forth there
agenda, not here. No thank you, I don’t need to hear anyone’s hatred,
slander, or accusations that have nothing to do with Haleigh being
rescued. Is she okay out there in the loving care of someone known to
her? Investigators have stated this was no stranger abduction. I would
imagine she is disguised by now, she has most definitely grown some its
been five months children grow quickly they react to stress and there
appearance can change weight wise ect. Has Haleigh’s appearance been
altered to be unrecognizable? Is she being kept inside sheltered
completely so that no one is a possible witness to her location?
There has been no news out of Satsuma in weeks, nothing not a drop
of rain in the desert that was once a garden. It has dried up and been
overgrown by the unforgiving parched wasteland that is her
disappearance. No rain in days and days. Wind blows in the trash to
cover the ground polluting an already barren existence. Haleigh has
been forgotten left out to dry by those who claim to be there for her,
those who just want to stir up a whirl of dust for there own purpose.
Anger is what it is here, anger over the lack of moisture to produce
what is needed to be achieved, finding Haleigh. How can it go dead
silent?
Nothing, no news, disheartening is what it is, it leaves the esteem
level low and the soul weak. Hard on the soul heavy on the heart it has
become. Where is Haleigh, does someone have her? Is this some cruel set
up? Some disgusting scam to gain whatever one has in there own best
interest. Or is she not with us any longer?
It seems by now her body would have surfaced somewhere, some bones
anyhow. What is behind this disappearance? How come Misty can’t figure
out a solid account for the hours in question? What has become of this?
It was a muddy dirt filled garden full of clues, leads, and searching,
is now a dry unforgiving desert with nothing but hard thick earth with
dusty wind swirling trash top it. It burns day and night for her,
inside the desert, deep it burns all day long into the night concern,
worry, and grief stricken for Haleigh. What has become of her, the lack
of moisture only enrages the fire. She needs conclusion. She needs to
be rescues from her confinements. If she is alive and in someone’s care
she needs to be saved. It is not legal to abduct and hold a child
captive, the nation is on alert for her there is an unresolved Amber
Alert out there on Haleigh. It can’t be legal to hold a child against
there will after abducting it from its home.
Haleigh is out there still missing, in the custody of her captor.
She needs to be found, brought to light what happened to her. What
happened to the cause to find the truth in the Haleigh Cummings
disappearance? Where did that cause go? It went to lawyers, and
attorneys, to the rumor mill the he said she said trash heap that it
produces regularly. It isn’t even mud its trash, pure smut in my
opinion. There is nothing regarding Haleigh, not one drop. Good Lord
its enough to make my head explode on top my neck. This is beyond a rut
this is a canyon of nothing but pure hot air. It fuels a wild fire of
destruction upon all who encounter it. Pathetic is what it is, weak
what these people have done turned Haleigh’s search into is weak and
vacuous, tabloid drama. No Haleigh not where I can see. Honestly it’s
with great sadness to write this report of nothing.
Haleigh is a five year old girl when she has curly blonde hair and
brown eyes, mind you she may be disguised now, she has a birthmark on
her left cheek. When she was last seen she was three feet tall and
weighed thirty nine pounds. Five months is a long time for a child and
she may of changed naturally in appearance, weight, height wise. Please
contact your local authorities or Putnam County Sheriffs with any
information regarding the Haleigh Cummings disappearance (386) 329-0800.

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
The mother of missing Haleigh Cummings, Crystal Sheffield created a central headquarters in Mar. where people could stop and offer any information they had regarding her 5-year-old girl. The building was located off U.S. 17 in Satsuma and painted purple. According to Sheffield's attorney, Kim Picazio, the center has been moved to Baker County because Sheffield can no longer drive to Satsuma since she suffers from seizures. On Mar. 30, while driving on State Road 20, Sheffield suffered a seizure and hit the rear bumper of the car in front of her.The
Haleighbug Foundation now sits on the family’s farm, where there are
plans to make a guest house into an office, which Picazio said will be
therapeutic for Sheffield. The family had also set up a Web site at Haleighbug.com, which was to contain updates and pictures regarding the case, however, at publication time the site was not functional. Haleigh
has now been missing almost five months. She has blond hair and brown
eyes and is 3 feet tall. Please call the Putnam County Sheriff's
Office at 386-329-0800 if you have any information regarding Haleigh
Cummings.
