Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
Work continued into a second night at a 3 acre pond deep in the woods south of Palatka.
Five to six feet has been drained from the pond as the Putnam County Sheriff's Office searches for physical evidence connected to the Haleigh Cummings disappearance.
At the same time Haleigh's family say they are very frustrated. "The Sheriff's Office doesn't tell us anything and I'm fed up with it," says great-grandmother Annette Sykes.
Sykes says she went to the pond but couldn't get answers as to whether they were searching for Haleigh.
Neighbors in the area say they were also kept in the dark about the choppers circling all day and the heavy equipment in the woods around their homes.
The Sheriff's Office is saying only that a tip led them to the pond and they are following up.
Sykes says she just wants to be kept updated. "This family has been through hell. We just want Haleigh home, we want her found."

PALATKA, Fla. -- Investigators say they finished draining and searching a Putnam County pond Saturday. Maj. Gary Bowling with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office told reporters that crews found no evidence in relation to the search for 6-year-old Haleigh Cummings.
Saturday morning, the sheriff's office issued a statement denying rumors that Haleigh's body was found, but they were continuing to search the 5-acre pond and surrounding woods off U.S. 19 south of Palatka for evidence in the case.

The search for physical evidence through Sunday night, as the last person to see the Haleigh was brought into the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. It has been learned that Misty Croslin, the wife of the child's biological father, was picked up by investigators, brought to the sheriff's office and released hours later.

ONE STORY SAYS "FOUND NOTHING" AND ONE STORY SAYS "WON'T SAY IF ANYTHING FOUND"
Dive crews in Putnam County wrapped up their search of a lake in the Haleigh Cummings case, Sunday.
Authorities spent 20 hours draining the lake, and search dogs walked along the muddy bottom looking for evidence.
But investigators won't say if they found anything related to the disappearance of five year-old Haleigh Cummings.
According to Putnam County officials, the search was prompted by over 4,000 tips they have received in the case

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
For another day people living around what's known as the "L Shaped" pond in Putnam County watched Sheriff's Office trucks and equipment go in and out of the woods around their homes.
"It's right behind us so I can't believe it was right under our nose and we didn't know, it's really surprising," says neighbor Tiffany Dunham.
Dunham and Clifford Tenant live at one of the narrow dirt roads leading to the pond and say Sunday was probably the busiest day so far with trucks driving past and manpower going in.
"We heard a bunch of different rumors, a bunch of different things. We heard they were looking for a stolen car to begin with, we heard they found Haleigh, found a bunch of marijuana plants, but you don't really know what the truth is because no one will tell you," says Tenant.
Teams of searchers were at the pond Sunday, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, looking for physical evidence connected to the Haleigh Cummings case.
As far as what that evidence is no one is saying.
But it was much easier for searchers now with the pond completely drained.
By Sunday night the searching was wrapped up.
In neighborhoods around the pond rumors have been circulating all weekend, but most hope whatever was happening was helpful.
"I hope they find something that gets them closer to finding her," says Dunham.

URGENT Haleigh Cummings Update: Hank Croslin Jr Talks, No One Home at 10pm Hour Night Child Was Abducted?
Posted on September 21st, 2009

Read 661 times.
TJ Hart of The Sky 97.3 has just sent
this over, it went on air about 20 minutes ago. This is breaking news.
This is certainly going to put yet more pressure on teen bride Misty
Croslin about what happened the night that Haleigh Cummings went
missing. Keep tuned, we will be updating this story as additional
information comes in – Simon
Putnam County authorities told WSKY Monday that Hank “Tommy” Croslin
Jr told PCSO detectives that when he checked on the house where missing
Haleigh Cummings of Satsuma was last seen the night she vanished, no
one appeared to be home.
As WSKY was trying to get additional information on the weekend
search at a pond for evidence of Haleigh Cummings, Captain Dominic
Piscetello with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office told us that while
being questioned last week Hank Croslin Jr gave up the this new
information.
Croslin stated during questioning that Haleigh’s father, Ronald
Cummings, had called him from his work and asked him to check on Misty
since he had not been able to contact her by phone the night Haleigh
disappeared. Tommy told PSCO detectives that he went down to Ron’s
trailer in the 10pm hour, knocked on the door and got no answer.
Croslin Jr. also told detectives that all the lights were out and
that no tv’s or radios were seen or heard inside the trailer. It was
quiet.
Ironically, all the family members involved were given this
information by law enforcement and each appeared to choose not to
mention this information in any of their statements this weekend.
TJ Hart
This is indeed a very key component, and it opens up some very
interesting scenarios. Where was Jr? Where was Misty? And of course,
where was Haleigh Cummings? I have no idea if Misty likes music, but
she might want to consider adopting ‘The Heat Is On’ by Glenn Frey that
was featured in Beverly Hills Cop as her theme song! - Simon

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
This is a subject that has been mentioned on several news sites, we can now confirm this as fact. Haleigh Cummings step mom was taken in for questioning over the last weekend. I think the quote from Maj, Gary Bowling of the PCSO sums it up in a nutshell:
Anecdotal information is telling us that at around 8:30pm Ronald and Misty had an argument via cell phone. As a result of this argument Misty turned her phone off.
All of the facts fit, I can see Ronald being angry, I can see Tommy going over to check up. OK this is where it gets more complicated. I am sure Tommy called Ronald back and told him that the lights were off, and no-one was home. One can imagine that Ronald Cummings was somewhat concerned. Where was Misty and where was Haleigh and Junior? So, and here is the big one….. Why did Ron go to the store for beer, smokes and peanuts before going home? I would have thought that he would have wanted to rush home to find out what was going on?
It is right about here that some really interesting possibilities open up. And for the most part they confuse me. Misty was at home when Ron got back, we know that from the 911 call. Where was she when Tommy came over?
Just how much longer can Misty Croslin-Cummings keep quiet? For months there have been rumblings about Misty and the likelihood that she was not at home that night. This theory certainly gains credibility after the bombshell (sorry Nancy I used your phrase) revelation that Tommy Croslin has stated that he went to the trailer on the evening of Haleigh’s disappearance around 10pm and could arouse no one, no lights were on, no TV’s or radios playing, nothing. The reason for his visit was the result of a phone call from Ronald Cummings who at that time was at work, he was concerned about Misty as he had been unable to reach her via phone.
PCSO did question Misty over the weekend – no information of any value came of it

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
Hank Croslin Jr. has told authorities no one was home when he
went to Haleigh Cummings' house just hours before the 5-year-old girl
was reported missing.
His claim, made during questioning last
week at the Putnam County Jail, contradicts statements by his sister,
Misty, who was babysitting Haleigh and reported her missing early Feb.
10.
Croslin told investigators he went to the house about 10
p.m. on Feb. 9 at the request of Ronald Cummings, Haleigh's father, who
had been trying to reach Misty Croslin by telephone for two hours.
"He had tried more than 20 times, and those calls went unanswered,"
sheriff's Maj. Gary Bowling said Monday, citing telephone records
obtained by authorities.
At the time, Hank Croslin Jr. lived down the street from the home
rented by Ronald Cummings, who called from work and asked him "to go
down and check on Misty," Bowling said.
"He got down there around 10," Bowling said. "The house was dark and quiet."
Croslin told investigators he banged hard on the door several times. Croslin
said he heard no sound coming from the Cummings house, no lights were
on and that when he looked in a window, it was clear no one was home.
Previously, Putnam County authorities have said Misty, who married Ronald Cummings
in March, possessed key information regarding Haleigh's disappearance.
In addition, Bowling and other sheriff's officials have said Misty
Cummings' statements to investigators have been inconsistent and that
she has walked out of at least one interview.
Misty Cummings has said she was at the Cummings' home that night babysitting Ronald
Cummings' children, Haleigh, who turned 6 in August, and 3-year-old
Ronald Cummings Jr., and that they all went to bed about 10 p.m.
According sheriff's office reports, Misty Cummings said she awoke about 3 a.m.
and saw that Haleigh wasn't in bed and the home's rear door was propped
open.
The child's disappearance was reported to the 911 call center at 3:27 a.m.
Family members said Haleigh is not one to wander off alone in the middle of the night.
On Monday, Misty Cummings' attorney disputed her brother's statements to investigators.
"Misty says she was there, so that's that," Robert Fields said. "He didn't go
in, so there's no way he could have verified that she wasn't there."
Fields said there was no proof Hank Croslin Jr. went to the house that night.
"He might just be telling investigators what they want to hear," Fields
said. "He might not even remember that night. There's so many problems
with that it's almost countless."
Bowling reiterated the agency's request for help from the public regarding Misty Cummings' whereabouts the night of Feb. 9.
On Aug 17, Haleigh's sixth birthday, the sheriff's office issued a strongly worded statement about Misty Cummings.
"She has failed to provide any sort of detailed accounting of the hours
during the late evening and early morning of Haleigh's disappearance,"
it said.
"Furthermore, physical evidence at the scene
contradicts Misty's sketchy account of her evening activities," the
statement said. "Any citizen with direct knowledge of Misty's
activities during that evening or into the early morning is encouraged
to report that information to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office."
Conflicting stories began when Misty Cummings' described the clothing Haleigh wore
to bed before she disappeared. The clothing she described was later
found in the home.
Later, questions about her conflicting stories during an interview on NBC's "Today Show" resulted in a reply of silence.
Hank Croslin Jr. has been jailed for about a week on a grand theft charge officials say is unrelated to the Haleigh case.
The sheriff's office also has said Ronald Cummings and Haleigh's mother,
Crystal Sheffield, have been cleared of suspicion in connection with
the child's disappearance.
Meanwhile, authorities on Sunday ended their search of the L pond, a 5-acre pond in the Mondex that was
drained late last week as part of the search for Haleigh.
Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Johnny Greenwood said the "pond in the area was drained
entirely for the purpose of conducting a thorough search" and "nothing
of evidentiary value was recovered."
Deputies from Putnam, St. Johns and Clay counties had been searching the pond on Thursday and
Friday before the decision was made to drain the water.
Both the pond and the area around it were closely checked Sunday, including by dogs specially trained to find cadavers.
Searchers have checked several ponds in the seven months since Haleigh
disappeared, but this was the first time one has been drained.
The Mondex property, southwest of Palatka near State Road 19, is notorious as a party location sometimes drawing large crowds.
Debris, such as abandoned tires and other items, is scattered across the area.
Officers on Thursday discovered about 100 marijuana plants being grown in pots next to the pond.
Crews from Georgia-Pacific, the city of Palatka and the St. Johns River Water
Management District brought in trailer-mounted pumps and pipes to drain
the pond.
Haleigh's disappearance prompted a massive search for
several days involving hundreds of law enforcement officers and
volunteers.
No trace of the blond-haired kindergartener has been found.
As the search was under way, the sheriff's Major Crimes Unit also began an
intensive criminal investigation that has received more than 4,000
tips. Detectives have interviewed dozens of people.
The dual effort has been assisted by officers from neighboring counties, as well
as several state agencies and federal law enforcement personnel.
Despite the work, no arrests have been made and authorities have not identified any suspects.

Find that white trash piece of poop and hang her-no trial, just feed her worn out, -been around the track a few times- body to the gators. Do the same thing to Ronald, he did NOT, keep his children safe at all, he's a piece of trashy poop also. Damn I'm mad!!

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
Faced with a choice between children, Lisa Croslin said Tuesday she believes her son’s account that no one appeared to be home when he went looking for his sister, Misty Croslin, who was watching Haleigh Cummings the night she disappeared.
“I believe my son,” Lisa Croslin said her Tennessee home. “I’ll tell anybody that. I know this will kill Misty when she hears it.”
For months her 17-year-old daughter has maintained she was at the Putnam County mobile home that entire February evening and awoke about 3 a.m. to find 5-year-old Haleigh gone.
She has said she was at home alone with Haleigh and Ronald Cummings Jr., who was 3 at the time, and has described an evening watching movies and washing a blanket.
Lisa Croslin said her daughter —who has since married Haleigh’s father, Ronald Cummings — may have been asleep after partying that weekend. But she thinks her son is telling the truth.
Twenty-three-year-old Hank “Tommy” Croslin Jr. told detectives Thursday that his sister’s then-boyfriend, Ronald Cummings, called from work to ask about her whereabouts. In the interview, he told detectives he went to the Satsuma mobile home about 9:45 p.m. to find his sister.
Ronald Cummings’ attorney said Tuesday that Cummings did not ask Croslin to check where she was and had been in touch with her during the evening.
Terry Shoemaker said Cummings simply called the Croslins just before 9 p.m. to ask if his girlfriend was there. Croslin was not asked to check on his sister in the call that lasted 20 to 30 seconds.
Shoemaker said the two had been in touch throughout the night.
“As far as he knows, they were home,” he said. “He had no reason to think they were not.”
Authorities said phone records show Cummings did make several unanswered calls to her cell phone before calling the Croslins.
“There were numerous attempts to call Misty,” said Maj. Gary Bowling of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. “Unsuccessful attempts.”
Bowling said Cummings called Tommy Croslin to say he was not able to contact her.
The couple had recently fought, prompting Misty to have a weekend excursion away from Ronald days before.
In the interview at the Putnam County jail where he is being held on a grand theft charge, Croslin told detectives he went down the street and banged on Cummings’ door about an hour after talking to Cummings, but no one answered.
Bowling said it is the first time anyone has said they went to the mobile home after Cummings’ grandmother Annette Sykes left about 7:30 p.m.
“He told us he banged on the door,” Bowling said. “He said it was dark and no lights were on.”
Detectives were told no one came to the door.
“It is surprising that someone would hold that information,” Bowling said.
Lisa Croslin said she had not heard about the call in the seven months since Haleigh disappeared and found that puzzling but did not have an explanation.
She said that in the months since Haleigh’s disappearance, she and other members of her family have become estranged from her daughter and told not to try and make contact.
Teresa Neves, who is Ronald Cummings’ mother, said her son told her he spoke with Tommy Croslin that night but did not tell him to go to the mobile home.
“My son would have called me to check on his kids,” she said.
Ronald Cummings would not talk Tuesday about any calls.
“That’s something for the police and the lawyers,” Cummings said.
He said his focus remains on finding his daughter.
Croslin has been jailed on $50,000 bail since Sept. 15 on a grand theft charge. He is accused of stealing a handgun from a former neighbor of his parents. It was later returned by the parents after being confronted by the neighbor.
Bowling said detectives talked with Misty Cummings over the weekend but would not say what was discussed. He said investigators are attempting to corroborate what her brother said.
“If he’s telling the truth, it means a lot,” Bowling said. “We took it for what it is worth.”
Robert Fields, Misty Cummings’ attorney, said she maintains that she was home.
“She told me yesterday she was definitely there,” Fields said Tuesday.
He said she may have been asleep, or that the time Croslin said he was there may be wrong.
“Trying to nail a time line down is one of those greasy pig issues,” he said.
He said Misty Cummings was out of town Tuesday and not available.

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
At 11:14 p.m. Tuesday, another local in the Satsuma, Florida good time entourage Misty Croslin Cummings told police she partied with in the three days before she reported Haleigh Cummings missing, was arrested and jailed on felony cocaine and marijuana possession charges.
Then, 30 minutes later, Greg Page, a light-skinned African American many locals fondly call “White Boy Greg,” posted a $1,508 bond on the drug charges and waltzed out of the Putnam County Jail. WBG has always cooperated with authorities who tell me the last time he saw Misty was early Sunday morning, two days before Misty reported Haleigh missing; he’s not a suspect in the missing child case, though it’s unclear whether authorities had time to interview him in jail before he bonded out.
Another Misty galpal, Kristina Nay Nay Prevatt, 18, who Misty told investigators drove them all on the party spree before Haleigh vanished, also remains in jail on drug charges in Palatka’s little big house.

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
Just where was Misty? That’s what Ronald wanted to know, especially since she’d just come home Sunday after her revenge romance with White Boy, after a fight with Ronald sent her fleeing into the party netherworld and the arms of WBG.
Ronald told me he was indeed livid, but saw staying with her as the only chance to stay close to the last person who saw Haleigh. “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer” became his favorite line privately, while on talk shows he professed loyalty to his now wife he married a month after Haleigh vanished.
Her grandmother, Flora Hollars, in Nashville, tells me most of the family was against the matchup. “She was just a baby,” Flora said in an exclusive interview. “The age difference was too big. But her mother let her do it.
“That’s the reason Misty turned out the way she did; they never made her go to school. She’s got some learning problems (disabilities). She had to grow up on her own. It’s sad.”
As bizarre as it sounds, Ronald and his family, including loyal mother in law Teresa Neves, may be the most stable home she’s ever lived in, fights, suspicions and the white hot glare of the press notwithstanding. Then there’s Ronald’s justifiable anger and jealousy.
Gary Bowling, a major with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, say his phone records reveal he made 20 phone calls to her that Monday night, but she didn’t pick up; that’s why he says he called the Croslin’s to ask if Misty was there, and Tommy says he made a request for him to check the trailer. Not that Ronald’s family believes Tommy, who faces theft charges and little prospect of getting out of jail anytime soon, with a whopping $50,000 bond hanging over his head.
Even Ronald Cummings did a quick turnaround in jail recently when Tommy filed assault charges against him for a fight that broke out when the Croslins showed up claiming Misty wanted to be rescued. He was out fast, denying he had assaulted anyone, and later that he had anything to do with a decapitated rat Tommy later found in his mailbox, and called police to finger Ronald.
Now it’s Tommy who’s ratting out Misty. And where is she? No one knew exactly Tuesday night, just that she’d taken off for parts unknown, jumping in the car of a friend shortly after another fight with Ronald.

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
The Bald Truth has obtained a blockbuster letter from a jailed Misty Cummings girlfriend, Kristina Prevatt, aka, Nay Nay, who says detectives confronted her with a witness statement claiming she was partying with Misty the night Haleigh vanished, and that the missing six year old accidentally overdosed on Oxycontin and died.
According to the letter, the witness claimed they “freaked” out, and that another party participant named White Boy Greg, aka, Greg Page, scooped Haleigh’s body into a bag and drove to a nearby pond to toss her. Repeated calls to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department were not returned. Another lead investigator told me he was unaware of the letter.
Page vehemently denies the charges, and and any involvement in Haleigh’s disappearance or knowledge of what happened to her, and sources close to the case told me months ago he’d been ruled out as a suspect. His name surfaced again last night when he was arrested and charged with drug possession by Palatka Florida police officers, and bonded out.
“I got interorogated by the detectives again about the Haleigh case,” writes Prevatt, requesting that her ex-boyfriend and father of their child send money. “You are not going to believe what they told me. They said that your good friend (Joe) went to detectives and wrote a sworn affadavit that I was with Misty, White Boy Greg and Haleigh the night of Haleigh’s disappearance which you know I was at your house.
“Well, anyways, he said that we all were all over at a party at … house and Haleigh got a hold of some Oxycontin and died. We supposedly freaked out and Greg put her in a black bag in my car and we took her to a pond by the Mondex.”
Investigators did search a pond last weekend in that area, but claimed nothing of evidentiary value was found. Misty has told investigators she was indeed partying with Page, and Prevatt in the days leading up to the Sunday before Haleigh vanished, but no credible witness has come forward who saw Misty any place other than where she said she was that night–at home babysitting Haleigh and her brother.
Tommy Croslin, now jailed on gun theft charges on a whopping $50,000 bond, claims she was apparently not home when he dropped by to check on her after Ronald Cummings called to say she’d not returned his calls and would he stop by.
Private investigator William Staubs, aka Cobra, says he obtained the jailhouse letter from someone close to Nay Nay, who remains in the Putnam County Jail on drug charges, and passed it on to law enforcement. We spoke with the go between who verified the letter as authentic and obtained it from the recipient.
Police have called her accounts conflicting and believe she knows more than she’s been revealing.
In the letter, Prevatt says “the detectives got my car from the junkyard and to do some CSI s$#!.

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
Police say Hank Croslin's story about going to his sister's home hours before Haleigh Cummings disappeared and finding no activity in the house, corroborates one of their theories about what happened that night.
Detectives say Croslin, Misty Cummings' brother, told them Cummings' husband and Haleigh's father, Ronald, called and asked him to check on Misty since he lived down the street. He says Ronald Cummings was at work and said he couldn't get in touch with his wife.
Croslin says he stopped by the mobile home around 9:45 p.m., Feb. 9. But detectives were told no one came to the door. Cummings has said she awoke at 3 a.m. the next morning and found that 5-year-old Haleigh had disappeared from the Satsuma home.
Cummings says she may have been sleeping at the time, according to Robert Fields, her attorney. Fields added that Croslin could also be wrong about the time of his visit.
"Trying to nail a time line down is one of those greasy pig issues," Fields says. He says currently his client is in Orlando visiting Universal Studios.
Detectives spoke with Misty over the weekend, but would not reveal what was discussed. They also spoke to Greg Page, who also is known as "White Boy Greg." Page said he was with Misty days before Haleigh's disappearance, but that he has not spoken to her since and he has no idea what happened to the little girl.
Maj. Gary Bowling of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said Hank Croslin's story marks the first time anyone has said they were at Misty and Ronald Cummings' home after 7:30 p.m.
"It is surprising that someone would hold that information," Bowling said.
But Misty Cummings is sticking by her story, telling investigators she was at home with Haleigh and Ronald Cummings Jr., who was 3 at the time. She says she was washing a blanket about 10 p.m

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
A Palatka man is speaking out about his relationship with Haleigh Cummings' stepmother.
Greg Page says he and Misty Croslin spent time together just days before Haleigh disappeared. The 29-year-old says his mother introduced him to Misty shortly before Haleigh vanished.
Page said, "The weekend before [Haleigh disappeared], Misty came over with a friend, Nay Nay, and we hung out and she left."
Page said he and Misty had a sexual encounter.
Misty has since married Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings.
Page, who goes by the street name 'White Boy Greg,' has been interviewed by investigators several times regarding the Haleigh case and about his relationship with Misty Croslin-Cummings.
Page was arrested Tuesday night and charged with drug possession in Palatka. He told First Coast News police questioned him again about the little girl.
"They just asked me where she was at. I told them, 'I don't know,'" Page explained, "I said if I knew I would've disclosed that information to the cops."
Page added that he has not spoken to Misty since Haleigh vanished. Meanwhile, investigators are working on another lead.
Major Gary Bowling with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said Misty's brother told them that the night Haleigh disappeared, Haleigh's father called him, asking him to check on Misty and the kids.
Bowling said Croslin told them Ronald Cummings had earlier called Misty about 20 times and could not get her on the phone.
Bowling said Croslin went to the house where Misty, Haleigh, and Haleigh's little brother were supposed to be. Croslin said the house was dark and quiet.
So does this mean Misty was not at home when she claims she was? Bowling said her brother feels she was not there.
"It is one of two or three very viable theories," Bowling explained. "It's a valid theory that she was not at home. This [information from Croslin] seems to corroborate that theory."
For a couple days this week, Misty Croslin-Cummings has not been at home in Welaka where she lives with her husband, his grandmother, and her stepson.
Responding to reports that Misty had skipped town, Misty's Attorney, Robert Fields, says she's taken a couple days to go to Universal Studios in Orlando with a friend.
As for Page, he maintains he does not know what happened to Haleigh. He said he never met the child, and he wished he had not met Misty Croslin-Cummings.
"It was a mistake. I wish I had never got caught up with that girl. It's been turmoil ever since," Page said

Where Did Misty Cummings Go When She Left Home? |
Enquiring minds have been wondering just where did the stepmom of missing Haleigh Cummings go without her husband this week as she was seen leaving with a girlfriend. Unconfirmed rumors had it that Misty Cummings and husband Ronald Cummings had a bitter argument over the weekend as a pond was being drained a short ways away in the search for Ronald's 6-year-old daughter Haleigh who who vanished back in February. However, Misty was seen on a news video kissing Ronald goodbye as she left with a woman to an undisclosed location. Misty was indeed in Orlando with the intent to visit Universal Studios according to her attorney and according to her mother-in-law Teresa Neves. Ronald and his son Junior were to meet up with Misty in Orlando today, but things changed after the media discovered their plans and made them public. Misty is expected home today . Neves tells reporters her boyfriend paid for the tickets. |

The man whose name was difficult to read in the letter Kristina Rene "Nay Nay" Prevatt sent to her boyfriend from jail regarding questioning she received a few days ago about the disappearance of missing 6-year-old Haleigh Cumming of Satsuma, FL., has been identified as Joseph Franklin Pytko.
An earlier attempt to decipher his name had it as a street name "Joe Psycho."
It has been confirmed by sources close to the investigation that Pytko is the man who signed a sworn affidavit stating that Prevatt, a party gal pal of the missing child's stepmom Misty Croslin-Cummings, was at a party with Misty, Greg Page (a man that Misty just had a weekend of sex and drugs with before the child vanished) and the children Haleigh and Junior the night Haleigh disappeared.
In his sworn statement--according to Prevatt's jail letter, Pytko said:
"Haleigh ingested oxycontin pills and died. Everybody freaked out and White Boy Greg (Greg Page) put Haleigh in a black bag and dumped her in a pond at the Mondex."
Last weekend, the L pond at Mondex was drained with no trace of Haleigh.

Pytko has a bit of a past with police and reportedly has had some issues:
"Police were caught in a two-hour standoff with a man threatening suicide early in the morning of June 24, 2008, forcing the closing of St. Johns Avenue until officers forcibly brought the man out.
According to reports from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, dispatch received a call from a concerned neighbor stating that Joseph Franklin Pytko, 32, was threatening to commit suicide by shooting himself.
Deputies arrived to the 3300 block of St. Johns Avenue and set up a perimeter around the man's home."

Lisa Croslin was the woman who returned the gun Tommy Croslin allegedly took from a former neighbor hours after the man noticed it missing from his home when the two went there to use his phone.
Shortly after that, Lisa and her husband Hank Croslin Sr. left the Satsuma area rather quickly and are believed to be in Tennessee at Lisa’s mother’s home.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is speaking out about a letter after it appeared on CNN's "Nancy Grace" Wednesday night regarding missing 6-year-old Haleigh Cummings.
The talk show host showed the letter, claiming it was sent from a female inmate who is a friend of Misty Cummings, Haleigh's stepmom. The letter was sent to the inmate's former boyfriend.
The letter said that police interrogated the inmate about Haleigh's disappearance and showed her a sworn affidavit from a witness.
That affidavit, according to the letter, said that Misty and some friends were at a party when Haleigh got a hold of some OxyContin and died.
Everyone supposedly freaked out and put Haleigh in a black bag and drove her to a pond near Mondex, according to the letter.
That's the same pond that investigators drained and searched over the weekend and found nothing.
A reporter asked Putnam County Chief Deputy Rick Ryan about the letter on Thursday and the report on "Nancy Grace."
"We know about the letter," Ryan said. "There was some issue about draining of the pond. The pond was drained before the letter. Quite frankly, we feel like it's irresponsible journalism to put this on the air that this letter is the gospel.
"I'm very disappointed, and quite frankly, appalled."
When asked if the affidavit mentioned in the letter is true, Ryan said, "Again, we don't care anything about this letter, and we're not going to waste our time on it. Even if it was our theory, we're just not going to talk about it."
Ryan said every time something new, fact or fiction, surfaces, he gets frantic phone calls from Haleigh's family.
"Look at what it's doing to the family," Ryan said. "It's a rollercoaster ride for the families, and just because one or two TV shows says it is, doesn't mean that it's happening."
Ryan said police are still investigating with the hope that Haleigh is still alive.
"Basically, because of this irresponsible journalism, they killed this little girl off in the media," Ryan said. "We're still of the mindset that this child is alive, and we're going to continue to pursue it as such until we know. Otherwise, frankly, it's perpetuating more drama."
Hank Croslin Jr. Released From Jail
A member of the Croslin family who was locked up on unrelated charges is now out of jail.
Hank Croslin Jr., the brother of Misty Cummings, was arrested last week, accused of stealing a gun.
He was released Thursday on bond.

Re: HALEIGH CUMMINGS - 5 yo - Satsuma FL - The Beginning
New speculation in the case of missing Haleigh Cummings centers on a jailhouse letter from an acquaintance of Misty Cummings saying she was questioned by police who were told the 5-year-old died from drugs she took during a party.
William "Cobra" Staubs, a private investigator and bounty hunter, provided a copy of the letter to the newspaper. He said it's from 19-year-old Kristina Renee "Naynay" Prevatt, who was partying with Misty Cummings the weekend before Haleigh disappeared.
Prevatt is in jail on several charges including drugs, smuggling contraband into jail and cyber-stalking and harassment.
The allegations relayed in the letter are among the "many theories" investigators have checked, said Chief Deputy Rick Ryan of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
"We have been in close contact with all the associates of Misty," he said.
He said investigartors were not aware of a particular party mentioned where the 5-year-old may have ingested drugs.
"If anybody knows about this so-called party, we would like to know," he said. "This group of folks were a party crowd."
Staubs is an associate of a former lawyer in the case on Haleigh's mother's side. He once bailed Prevatt out of jail and returned her for breaking conditions of her release.
The letter is to her boyfriend Donnie and is dated Sept. 18 and signed Love (a heart outline) Always Naynay.
It states that she got interrogated again in the case and was told a friend of Donnie's wrote a sworn affidavit about what happened the night the 5-year-old disappeared.
It said she was at a party with Misty, Haleigh, Junior (Haleigh's brother) and a male friend. It says Haleigh got into some Oxycontin and overdosed. The male friend put her in a black bag in Prevatt's car and they took her to a pond.
Prevatt's car also was taken from the junkyard to search for evidence, the letter to Donnie said. Why would he make something like that up and put her in the middle of a homicide investigation, the letter asked in angrier terms. "You know I was with you that night!"
Ryan said the Sheriff's Office located Prevatt's car for a search "weeks ago."

Putnam County authorities are looking for the woman who dropped off a letter at the St. Augustine Record Newspaper on Wednesday afternoon.
The associate editor of the newspaper said it contained a tip regarding the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings.
Detectives want to talk to the woman, who did not identify herself in the letter. They are asking for the public's help.
The surveillance video shows it took just a few seconds for the blonde woman in blue scrubs to give a newspaper receptionist the letter.
"My name, and the paper's name, and address was on the envelope, sealed," said Richard Prior, Associate Editor for the St. Augustine Record.
"It could go a long way to solving what happened," said Prior.
Prior states that he made a copy of the letter, and gave the original to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
"They're looking at letter and envelope for fingerprints," said Prior.
He can't reveal what the letter says. However, Prior said it is one paragraph long, typed, and has three letters at the bottom that resemble initials.
"If the information is accurate, it's going to be pretty volatile," said Prior.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is not commenting on the letter but released the video in hopes that someone would recognize the woman wearing sunglasses.
"The person needs to contact the Putnam County Sheriff's Office so they can determine if there's any validity to the information," said Prior.
Prior said he cannot reveal what the letter says because it could hurt the Haleigh Cummings investigation.
However, prior said at some point, he would like to reveal the details in a newspaper article.
