Casey Anthony trial: State close to concluding its case

Casey Anthony's first-degree murder trial will resume this afternoon , putting state prosecutors one step closer to wrapping up their case against the accused child killer.
Proceedings ended early Monday because the state announced its next witnesses weren't available until this afternoon.
It's unclear who the state intends to call today, but many speculate it will be forensic analysts. Court will begin at 1 p.m.
Orange-Osceola Chief Judge Belvin Perry told jurors Monday that the state may wrap up its case by Wednesday, which means the defense could begin calling its witnesses Thursday.
