Witness: Casey seemed ‘pretty happy’ after Caylee disappeared

Orlando, FL — The state will rest its case Wednesday morning in Day 19 of Casey Anthony’s murder trial.
The trial was supposed to last six to eight weeks, but “so far we are ahead of schedule,” Judge Belvin Perry said. Perry said the case could be in the hands of the jury by the end of next week.
The defense starts testimony Thursday, since none of its witnesses could get in town by Wednesday. Forensic experts could be some of the first to testify.
The last person to take the stand for the state was Bobby Williams, a friend of Casey’s who designed her “La Bella Vita” tattoo, which means “The Beautiful Life.” Casey got the tattoo on her back after Caylee had disappeared.
When asked how Casey appeared when getting her tattoo, Williams said Casey acted “normal” and “pretty happy.”
