ORLANDO, Fla. -- A day after surprising prosecutors with her testimony, the mother of Casey Anthony, who is accused of killing her daughter, Caylee, was again called to testify.
Lead defense attorney Jose Baez called Cindy Anthony to the stand on Friday -- day 27 of her daughter's murder trial -- and asked her about a pair of shorts found in the woods near Caylee's remains.
The state quickly objected, prompting Judge Belvin Perry to call a sidebar. The defense was apparently not permitted to use the photo, and Baez then questioned Cindy Anthony about Caylee's size. She she said Caylee was growing quickly in 2008.
In an effort to bolster the claim that Caylee drowned in the family's backyard swimming pool, Baez showed Cindy Anthony a series of pictures, and another sidebar was called.
