Mom Accused Of Beating Son Who Asked For $1

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- An Orange County mother is facing charges after deputies said she attacked and beat her son after he asked for a dollar.

Deputies arrested Rachel Felder at the Shoreview apartments on Madrid Avenue.

The Department of Children and Families said Felder hit her son in the face and knocked him on the ground before she jumped on him and continued to hit him.

Investigator said when Felder's husband tried to stop the attack, she threatened to kill him.
