Johns Creek mother, child missing since August

	SPECIAL.

The
Johns Creek Police Department in conjunction with the Georgia Bureau of
Investigation is actively seeking the whereabouts of Lachella Marie
Chapman and her son Alexander Chapman, 2.
The two have been missing
since Aug. 26, 2011 from 11660 Windbrooke Way in Johns Creek. Chapman's
mother reported the two missing after repeated attempts to contact them
and finding the residence abandoned.
Family and friends have advised
that it is not like Chapman to leave with her whereabouts unknown.
Authorities are concerned for the well-being of the missing child.
Chapman
is possibly occupying a 2007 Dodge Nitro, white in color, bearing
Georgia Tag BKT 7962. She has ties in both Michigan and Washington
State. Authorities in those areas are working in conjunction with
Georgia Law Enforcement in the search for the Chapmans.

Woman, toddler missing from Johns Creek

JOHNS CREEK, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking for a missing woman and her two-year-old child in Johns Creek.

Police say Lachella Marie Chapman and her son Alexander Chapman have been missing since August 26, from 11660 Windbrooke Way.

Chapman's mother reported the two missing after repeated attempts to contact them and finding the home abandoned.

They haven't made contact with family members and there has been no activity on the woman's bank account, cell phone or Facebook page.

Police say Chapman is retired from the armed services and they are hoping her work history may provide some information.

"We are working in conjunction with the VA to see if there's any activity with her VA checks. We are also checking to see if there have been changes to her account or changes to where her check should go," Lt. Chris Byers said.

Chapman has ties in both Michigan and Washington State. Authorities in those areas are working in conjunction with Georgia Law Enforcement in the search.

Is this possibly the same person? She has the same name and someone posted photos on Facebook as of November 7th. Some pictures of a 20 month old boy named Alexander in October. If she's been missing since August 26th, then someone else must be posting pictures on her fb page but they appear to be from LaChella:
