The

Police say he was the father of the child.
Officers
had been sent to the Bella Vista apartments in the 7200 block of
Chaucer Place in the Red Bird area. There, they found the baby, who had

DALLAS - Two missing children have been found and a Dallas man who is
wanted for questioning for the unexplained death of a third child is in
police custody.
According to police, 24-year-old Christopher
Anthony Garcia is a possible suspect in the death of his girlfriend’s
3-year-old child. Sources told FOX 4 the boy had been badly beaten.
On
Wednesday afternoon Garcia had custody of the child’s siblings,
4-year-old Frank Cavello and 8-month-old Chrislynn Garcia. The baby is
his biological daughter.
Police issued an Amber Alert because they believed the children were in extreme danger.
Fortunately
someone dropped them off at a police station at about 9:30 p.m. They
were taken to the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center in good condition,
police said.
Garcia was taken into custody a short time later in
the 2900 block of Spruce Valley Lane. While there were reports of shots
fired, no one was reported injured.

I have decided to let Jerry Springer explain to me what and who did what with whom and when. This is way too confusing for this late at night.

Suspect in Amber Alert and murder caught, charged
Thursday, Nov 17 at 7:17 PM
RED BIRD - "Who does this?" Jennie Alvarado wondered through her tears. "Who does this to an innocent baby?"
The grandmother of three-year-old Josiah Garcia says the whole family is
in shock with sadness and anger over the little boy's death.
It all started when police responded to a report of a fatal child abuse
case at Methodist Charlton Medical Center Wednesday. The investigation
led authorities to the Bella Vista apartments in the Red Bird area.
Officers found the suspect in the alleged beating death had disappeared
from the apartment, along with two other children. An Amber Alert was
issued.
The two children, an eight-month-old girl and a four-year old boy, were
located unharmed. The suspect in the case was captured when he jumped
from an apartment window in the 2900 block of Spruce Lane. Police
reportedly fired on the suspect as he tried to escape.
According to police documents, Josiah Garcia was "being whipped for
wetting himself" Wednesday afternoon. The fatal beating, according to
authorities, was at the hands of Garcia, the boyfriend of the child's
mother.
Catalina Garcia, the 21-year-old mother of five children, reportedly tried to stop the attack and was hurt herself.
The family said this isn't the first time Christopher Garcia has allegedly hit the boy.
"I've questioned it," Alvarado said. "I guess I just didn't want to think that anybody would hurt that baby."
Records show Garcia has a history of drug possession, though there are no official reports of domestic violence.
Child Protective Services confirms they were called to investigate the
mother, Catalina Garcia, in 2004. When they arrived at the apartment,
Garcia and her eight-year-old son were gone after being been evicted.
It's unclear if Christopher Garcia was connected to the family at that
time.
CPS confirms two investigations with the family last year. Both cases were dismissed.
Josiah's family says they would like to, but can't, dismiss Christopher Garcia.
"I have no thoughts of him," Alvarado said. "The only thought I have of him is sinful, and I don't want to think like that."
"He's a monster," added Felicia Garcia, the victim's aunt. "And what they give him, he deserves."
Garcia was booked into jail for injury to a child. Charges could be
upgraded to capital murder. He's being held on $1 million bail.
Josiah has four siblings; two brothers ages four and eight, and five-year-old and nine-month-old sisters.
The family has started a fund to offset Josiah's funeral costs. The
attorney general's victims fund is paying $4,500 towards funeral costs,
but the family is still $800 short. The fund is at Chase Bank, and the
family said 100 percent of any excess will go towards a local child
abuse fund.

DALLAS -- The mother of 3-year-old Joshia Garcia has been arrested in connection with the death of her son.
Dallas police said Catalina Garcia, 21, knew that her son was being
abused by her boyfriend Christopher Garcia and did nothing to protect
the little boy or prevent the attack.
Police also report that she failed to get medical attention when it
was clear that the 3-year-old needed help. She also reportedly left the
home and took her other children to school on the day that her boyfriend
allegedly beat Josiah to death.
First reports indicated that Catalina tried to stop the attack and was hurt.
Christopher Garcia, was arrested and charged with capital murder.
The child’s mother is now charged with injury to a child causing serious bodily injury by omission.

Good job Dallas. The mothers of many, many abused and/or murdered children should be arrested more often.
