TAYLOR HARTUNG-MANN - 13 Months - Elkhart IN

Elkhart Police are investigating the death of a 13-month-old baby girl Saturday night.

Just after 7:15 p.m., emergency crews responded to an
apartment at 728 W. Bristol Street, that’s located inside the Forest
Glen Apartment complex.

There officers found Taylor Hartung-Mann’s lifeless body inside her home.
According to eyewitnesses, paramedics quickly carried the baby to an ambulance where they performed
CPR. Soon thereafter, Hartung-Mann was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neighbors tell NewsCenter 16, a crime technician
vehicle arrived at the scene around 9:30 p.m. Police officers were later
seen carrying brown bags, presumed to be evidence, from the apartment
unit where the child was found.

Elkhart Police have yet to determine the infant’s cause of death,
but say an autopsy will take place early this week.

Although investigators have taken people in for questioning, no arrests have been made.
