LARITA COLEMAN - 17 yo and Daughter, DaNIYA Owens - 1 Month - Chicago/ North side IL

Chicago - Police are asking for the public’s help finding a teenage
mother and her infant daughter who went missing Friday from a North Side
group home.
Larita Coleman, 17, is a ward of that state that
resides in a group home in the 6100 block of North Mozart Street,
according to a missing person alert from Belmont Area detectives.
Coleman
was last seen Friday with her infant daughter, Da’Niya Owens, who is
less than 1-month-old and also missing, the alert said. She has a
history of engaging in risky behavior and leaving for long periods of
time with her daughter.
Coleman is described as a 5-feet-4,
110-pound African-American girl with a dark complexion, black hair and
brown eyes, the alert said. She was last seen wearing a red and black
jacket and blue jeans.
Da’Niya is described as a 17-inch,
eight-pound African-American infant with a medium complexion, the alert
said. She is “extremely small and frail” and considered at high risk.
Coleman is known to frequent the South Side and possibly suburban Markham, police said.
