JOHN and KRISTINA NGUYEN - 3 and 4 yo (2002) - Cincinnati OH

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is again asking
for the public's help to locate a missing Cincinnati woman and her two
children. They haven't been seen in ten years.

John and Kristina
Nguyen went missing on April 18, 2002. They were last seen with their
mother, Van Nguyen, an Asian female, now 36 years old. They were
traveling in a green 1997 Nissan Pathfinder with OH license plates
ADH7739.

Van Nguyen came to the United States from Vietnam as a
teenager. Her parents wanted their four children to have a better life
and more opportunities. She worked at Argosy Casino as a dealer. Her
family says her marriage was miserable and just before she disappeared,
she left notes to her parents, along with money and jewelry, saying she
planned to kill herself and her children.

On the day of her
disappearance, Van Nguyen was stopped by a police officer near Rising
Sun early in the morning for driving her Nissan Pathfinder with its
bright lights on. John and Kristina were asleep in the back seat.
Nguyen had said she planned to drive her car into the river, but after
numerous searches of the water, her vehicle was never found. Police
believe she may have faked her death, and left the country.



John's nickname is Tai and Kristina's nickname is Hang. Kristina also had pierced ears.

John
and Kristina, both of Asian descent, have black hair and brown eyes.
When last seen, John was three years old, was 3 feet tall and weighed 40
pounds. Kristina was four years old, was 3 feet 8 inches tall, and
weighed 60 pounds.
