Casey Anthony Latest: Bankruptcy Deadline Two Weeks Away

Casey Anthony has two weeks to complete a financial management course, which is required if she wants to be granted bankruptcy.

She had sixty days from her initial filing on March 4 to take this class, and the deadline is right around the corner. The article which reported this latest development doesn't say whether Casey has fulfilled this obligation, but "Tot Mom" doesn't seem like the most responsible person in the world, so it's a safe bet to say she hasn't.

Besides, all of this bankruptcy talk is pretty much moot at this point. Everyone knows that her story is going to be sold to the highest bidder, and the proceeds will be given to her creditors. There's no way her lawyers, who managed to keep Casey out of prison, are going to just drop this matter quietly. Anthony also purportedly owes the Internal Revenue Service tens of thousands of dollars as well, and as you well know, the IRS always gets paid.

Casey Anthony, despite allegedly receiving thousands from sympathizers, is claiming she's flat broke, and is unable to work due to her notoriety.
