CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (KSDK) - The Illinois State Police issued an AMBER Alert for a 13-year-old girl who was last seen in Champaign, Illinois.
According to Sgt. David Griffet of the Champaign Police Department, Cleo Younce was abducted just before 3:25 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, in the 2400 block of Hathaway Drive.

Cleo Younce found safe in Cape Girardeau

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (KSDK) - A 13-year-old Champaign, Illinois girl abducted Thursday has been found safe in a Cape Girardeau Wal-Mart, the Champaign Police Department said.
According to Sgt. David Griffet of the Champaign Police Department, Cleo Younce was abducted just before 3:25 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, in the 2400 block of Hathaway Drive.
The suspected abductor, 21-year-old Nicholas Hurley, was taken into custody.
Griffet said Younce and Hurley met about a month ago through a family acquaintance.
On Thursday, Younce used her cell phone to call her mother and said Hurley had abducted her, Griffet said. That was the last communication anyone has had with Younce prior to her being found.
