Facebook April Suwyn left her daughter, 11-month-old Skyah, in a hot car where she died of heat exhaustion.

A young baby has died in Utah after she was left alone in a sweltering 90-degree parked car by her distracted mom.

April Suwyn abandoned her 11-month-old daughter Skyah in the vehicle outside their home in Hurricane for several hours on Friday, according to local reports.

The manicurist took the youngster, just one month shy of her first birthday, along for a ride as she dropped off her two young sons with a babysitter early in the morning.

On arriving home, however, she was forced to park down the street because of construction. Desperate to use the restroom, she rushed back home. Then, she forgot about her tot — believing that she'd put her down for a nap.

It was only at 1 p.m. she realized her tragic mistake, when she returned to the car on her way to pick up her sons.

Paramedics were called and Skyah was airlifted to Dixie Regional Medical Center. But she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Neither April or her husband Micah have commented on their daughter’s death.

But April’s sister Aimee Wright told the Deseret News that it was “an accident” stemming from a change of routine — as another babysitter usually looked after Skyah.

“If people who are being negative could even see how hard she is on herself,” she said. “If they could see that she keeps saying, ‘If only. If only. If only. I wouldn't have been out of my routine that day. If only I had gone to the gym.’ She blames it all on herself,” she added.

Family friend Lacie Van Dam told KSL: “They loved her so much. They never, never set her down. She was just ... everybody loved her.”
