The mother of a missing 13-year-old west suburban
girl says she is concerned that a man may be holding her daughter
against her will.
Not since Friday at noon has Sharon Thompson seen her 13-year-old daughter Skylar.
That's when Skylar left her home in Maywood and went to a party with some friends.
And, her mother says, Skylar apparently left the party with a man who said he would walk her home.
"I would ask him to please, please have a heart. Have a good heart. And
know that this child is a child that is loved and whose mother is
waiting for her to come back so she can continue being a child."
Skylar Thompson will be an eighth grader this fall.
