MEGHAN OLCOTT - 15 yo - Hilo HI

A 15-year-old Hilo girl has gone missing from her home. She did not
attend school Monday and her friends say they have not heard from her.
The family is asking Big Island residents to help in their effort to find Meghan Olcott.
Her mother, Brenda, issued this statement:
This morning I woke up at 2:30 a.m. to my worst nightmare, an empty
bed. The world just fell apart without warning. Meghan, my 15 year
old daughter, is missing.
I last saw Meghan when she went to bed about 10 p.m. on Sunday
night. We had a great weekend and she was in good spirits – excitedly
talking about school today.
I believe she has on a black Washington DC hood sweatshirt and is
wearing blue teva slippers, nothing appears to be missing and her phone
is off.
Meghan’s friends are looking for her, no one has heard from her.
A recent picture of Meghan is attached. She’s 15 1/2, about 5′5″
and 128 lbs. She has curly red hair, bright blue eyes and is loved
beyond measure. I just want my daughter safe. I want her home. She
is my heart & soul. Please keep her in your thoughts and please
help us find her.

Big Island police are searching for a teenage girl who has been missing since Sunday, November 1.
Police say Meghan Olcott was last seen at her home in Hilo.
Olcott is 15-years-old, 5’5”, weighs about 128 pounds and has red or auburn hair.
She was last seen wearing shorts, blue Teva footwear and a gray hooded sweatshirt with the words "Washington, D.C." on the front.
She also wears braces with orange and rubber tension bands.Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Big Island police at #808-935-3311.

Meghan is back home as of Thursday (Nov 5).
