An AMBER Alert has been issued for an eight-year-old Oklahoma girl
whose mother was shot to death late Sunday night. The missing girl is
Aja Johnson, who has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen at her
Geronimo home about 15 miles south of Lawton. Authorities suspect
Lester Hobbs killed Johnson's mother, kidnapped the girl and may be
heading for Davenport. They may be in a white 1992 Toyota with the
license plate 577-BPW. Police ask anyone who sees them to call 911.

Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for an seven-year-old girl from Geronimo.
Police tell us 46-year-old Lester Hobbs shot and killed his estranged wife, then kidnapped her daughter, Aja Johnson.
It happened around 10:00 last night near the intersection of Comanche Ave. and Minnesota St.
Geronimo police, the Comanche County Sheriff's Department, and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are working the case.
Again, they've issued an Amber Alert for seven-year-old Aja Johnson.

She is a white female, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is bipolar and has other medical conditions.
The murder and kidnapping suspect is a Lester Hobbs. Police believe
he may be headed toward his sister's house in Davenport, Oklahoma. He
may be driving a 1992 white Toyota with license plate number 577-BPW.

Hobbs is a white male, 6 ft 1 in. tall and 190 lbs. He's described
as having brown hair, brown eyes, a receding hair line, and a lot of
tattoos.
Hobbs has numerous prior felony charges out of Cleveland County and is carrying the weapon used in the murder.

The Comanche County Sheriff’s department in Oklahoma has issued an
Amber Alert for Aja Jotson, an 8 year old girl from Geronimo,
Oklahoma. She was kidnapped from her home after 46 year old Lester
William Hobbs shot her mother to death in the home at approximately 10
Pm Sunday night. Lester Hobbs has prior convictions. Court records
show that Tonya Hobbs filed for an emergency protective order in August
2009 on the grounds of child abuse. That was in Lincoln County. When
officers went to serve him he was no longer working at his job and had
fled. On August 18 neither party appeared for the hearing on the
matter and the case was dismissed. Hobbs is NOT Aja’s father.
Hobbs is believed to be driving a white 1992 Toyota Paseo OK Tag #
577-BPW with a missing back window replaced with sheet metal. Geronimo
is located about 15 miles south of Lawton, Oklahoma just east of state
highway 281/277 which is also SW 11th Street in Lawton. Please stay
alert in the Lawton area. Also stay alert along a possible route going
through Walters, Corum, Comanche and Waurika, as well as all points
south on H.E. Bailey Turnpike toward Wichita Falls, Texas. Authorities
suspect Hobbs may be headed toward his sister’s home in Davenport,
Oklahoma. Davenport is just east of Chandler, Oklahoma and just south
of I-44. This would take Hobbs up H.E. Bailey Turnpike, through or
around the Oklahoma City metro area and headed toward Tulsa on I-44.

Missing
7-year-old Aja Johnson has just reportedly been spotted by police in
Texas! The sighting, approximately 265 miles away, indicates the girl
is still alive! Please help police track down Aja and bring her home
safe.

Authorities in Oklahoma have issued an Amber Alert for a missing child who is believed to be in the custody of a murder suspect.

According to officials with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation,
7-year-old Aja (pronounced Asia) Johnson was last seen at a residence
in Geronimo on Saturday evening. The following night, police found the
girl's mother, 37-year-old Tonya Hobbs, dead inside an RV that was
parked at the residence.

"[They] were visiting Hobbs' estranged
husband at his sister's home," said Jessica Brown, the bureau's public
information director. "Lester William Hobbs, the estranged husband, and
Aja are [now] missing."

The medical examiner's office is still
in the process of performing an autopsy on Tonya Hobbs; however, Brown
said investigators believe she was murdered. As a result, police have
named Lester Hobbs a "person of interest" in her death.

This
alleged incident is not the first time Lester Hobbs has had trouble
with the law. According to court records, he has multiple convictions
for assault, burglary and driving under the influence. In addition,
Tonya Hobbs had filed for a protective order against Hobbs in August,
but police were unable to locate him and the matter was later dropped
when neither he nor Tonya Hobbs showed up for a previously scheduled
court appearance.

Police say Lester Hobbs is not Aja's biological father.

He
is believed to be driving a white 1992 two-door Toyota Paseo with
Oklahoma license plate 577-BPW. The car has no hubcaps and there is
plastic covering the rear passenger window.

Lester Hobbs, 46, is
described as a white man, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 185 pounds, with
brown hair and hazel eyes. He no longer has the goatee as seen in
photos being circulated by the media, but he does have a mustache. He
also has multiple tattoos on his upper body.

Aja is described as
a white girl, 4 feet tall and 65 pounds, with brown hair and brown
eyes. She has a medical condition that authorities say requires daily
medication.

Authorities believe Lester Hobbs may be headed toward his sister's home in Davenport, Okla.

"Our main concern at this time is to find the little girl," Comanche County Sheriff Kenny Stradley said during a news conference Monday afternoon. "We already have a tragedy on our hands. We don't want two."

Lester
Hobbs should be considered armed and dangerous. Police are asking
people not to attempt to approach him or his vehicle. Instead, anyone
with information is asked to contact the Geronimo Police Department at

The Texas Department of Public Safety says Lester William Hobbs and
seven year old Asa Johnson were seen this afternoon in Brady, Texas.
That's between Austin and San Angelo. Officials believe he may be
heading to Rockport, which is in far south Texas. It's only a few hours
from the US-Mexico border.

Seven year old Aja Daniell Johnson is who police are looking for.
They want to know if she is safe tonight and where she is.

Late last night police discovered the dead body of the girl's mother,
Tonya Hobbs, inside an RV which she and this man, Lester William Hobbs
were staying along with Aja Johnson. It has the Oklahoma State Bureau
of Investigation treating Hobbs as a person of interest and they
believe he and the seven year old girl are possibly together.

Richard Goss with the the OSBI said, "Right now we know they were
driving a 1992 Toyota Paseo. The car has been described as white in
color. It should have Oklahoma license plates 577-BPW."
We're told the car also has no hubcaps and the passenger side window
is broken and has plastic covering it. Officials are not sure where
Lester Hobbs is heading but they do have a few ideas.

Spokesperson Jessica Brown told reporters, "We believe they
could be headed to Texas, Oregon or California in those three places
because Mr. Hobbs has relatives in all three of those places. We just
don't know where he's headed at this time. He's a transient and he
really doesn't haven't ties except for those relatives in California,
Oregon and Texas."

In the last briefing in Comanche County. Officials announced that a
federal arrest warrant had been issued for Lester Hobbs on a failure to
appear in court in Lincoln county for a DUI. That means if he's pulled
over in another state he will be detained, and hopeful find Asa
Johnson.

An Oklahoma City man pleaded Monday for the return of his 7-year-old daughter, Aja Johnson, who had not been seen since her mother’s body was found Sunday in Comanche County.

I’m here to make a plea for everyone who’s listening and every parent who is out there that I need my little girl back,” J.J. Johnson
said during a news conference in Oklahoma City. "Take her to a safe
spot, and I’ll come and get her or see that she’s picked up with no
questions asked.” The body of Aja’s mother, Tonya Leann Hobbs, 37, was found about 9 p.m. Sunday in her recreational vehicle parked outside a relative’s house at 203 Minnesota in Geronimo, said Jessica Brown, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman. The woman’s estranged husband, Lester William Hobbs, 46, is a person of interest in her death, and investigators think Aja is with him, Brown said.Aja is 4 feet tall and weighs about 59 pounds. She has brown eyes and
brown shoulder-length hair with recently dyed black tips on her hair,
Brown said.Lester Hobbs is about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 190 pounds.
He has hazel eyes and brown hair. He no longer has a goatee as shown in
photos provided by the OSBI. Brown said Lester Hobbs has the word
"love” tattooed on his left fingers and left wrist, and the word "rose”

DAVENPORT, OK -- Lester and Tonya Hobbs once lived in Lincoln County
and now lawmen in that area are on the look-out for Lester and the
little girl, Aja Johnson. County authorities were alerted early Monday
morning to keep an eye out for a man they arrested nearly a year ago.

They say the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spent Monday searching for any leads in the case.

Memories aren't very clear about the family who once lived in a mobile
home on Cleason Street in Davenport, but there is one thing some do
remember.

"I'd just hear him talking and occasionally cussing and abusive talking
toward the children and his wife," former neighbor Betty Johnson said.

What Johnson says comes as no surprise considering 47-year-old Lester Hobbs' violent background.

It included charges for resisting arrest, assault and battery with a
deadly or dangerous weapon and violating a protective order.

It's been about a year since he was behind bars in Lincoln County for driving under the influence.

Now, the same authorities are on the lookout for him once again.

"Keeping extra patrols in the area of Davenport around where his
sister's residence is if he should try to contact her," Lincoln County
Sheriff Charles Mangion said.

It was near Hobbs' sister's house where NewsChannel 4 caught up with those close to Hobbs' sister.

They say they don't know Hobbs personally, but had strong words to describe what they think about him.

"Yeah, somebody needs to shoot his a**," a family friend said. "That's all I'm going to say."

No one answered the door of Hobbs' sister's home.

We're told Hobbs is a mechanic and also has relatives in Benton County, Missouri, northern Louisiana and Texas.

Authorities have issued a murder warrant for Lester Hobbs. He's also now charged in the kidnapping of Aja Johnson.
There
are also new details about hobbs making previous threats to Aja Johnson
from a protective order filed by Tonya Hobbs just five months ago.
Aja Johnson's father joined law enforcement-- pleading for her safe return.
Officers
are following up on dozens of reports of possible sightings, a couple
of them in Wichita Falls. Right now, all of them have turned out to be
false alarms, but investigators say it is so important that people stay
alert to help bring this little girl home.
"We're
asking people to continue searching: law enforcement and individuals.
Think of it like this-- this could be your daughter. So, we need your
help," said Kenny Stradley, Comanche County Sheriff.
Investigators
now say Tonya Hobbs was beaten to death inside his trailer. She and her
daughter arrived there Friday, despite a court petition she filed in
August claiming lester threatened to "hit [Tonya's] daughters in the
head with a hammer and kill them."
Investigators say the case never went anywhere, because neither Lester nor Tonya showed up for a court appearance.
Police say the car Lester is believed to be driving is key to finding Lester and Aja.
"Our
primary focus not only is on the child but also the vehicle. The 1992
Pasao if we find it we can probably solve this case," said Jessica
Brown with the O.S.B.I.
Hobbs is believed to be driving a 1992 white Toyota Paseo with
Oklahoma license plate number 577-BPW. The 2-door car reportedly has no
hubcaps and plastic covers the rear passenger window.

Comanche County deputies say Hobbs has prior felony arrests, including
convictions for domestic abuse, violating a protective order and
assault and battery.

GERONIMO — Authorities continued to search for Aja Johnson
on Tuesday and said they were growing increasingly fearful about the
7-year-old’s safety. Investigators think she was abducted by her
stepfather, Lester William Hobbs, who was charged Tuesday in her kidnapping and her mother’s killing.
The National Center For Missing and Exploited Children has
set up a 24-hour hot line number, (800) 843-5678, for anyone who has
information on the whereabouts of Aja. She is described as 4 feet tall
and weighing about 59 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair that has
recently been dyed black on the tips. Lester Hobbs is about 6 feet, 1
inch tall and 190 pounds. He should be considered armed and dangerous,
authorities said.



The urgency to find Aja played a role in the swift filing of the charges."What I want people to understand is that one of the reasons we have
filed these charges now — but not the only reason — is we can now
request the assistance of the U.S. Marshals and FBI,” said Fred Smith, Comanche County district attorney. "It’s important that we have all our resources in place."Mr. Hobbs has gone from a person of interest to a defendant. That’s

The body of Tonya Hobbs,
37, was found Sunday inside Lester Hobbs’ recreational vehicle in
Geronimo. A court affidavit stated she died from "blunt force trauma to
the body.” Lester Hobbs was charged with first-degree murder.Investigators think Hobbs, 46, fled the scene with Aja in Tonya Hobbs’ white 1992 Toyota Paseo coupe, which is distinctive by its missing hubcaps and a missing rear passenger-side window now covered with plastic and tape. The two-door vehicle has an Oklahoma tag of 577-BPW."We’re asking for the public’s help,” OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown
said during an afternoon news conference outside Geronimo City Hall
while deputies continued searching the roads leading away from the
crime scene. "We believe if we find this vehicle, we can solve this
case. But time is our enemy.”Brown and Smith declined to say why investigators think Hobbs committed
the killing and kidnapping. They also would not discuss evidence.Mildred Anderson,
Lester Hobbs’ sister, found Tonya Hobbs’ body in the RV about 9:40 p.m.
Sunday, according to the court affidavit. Lester Hobbs had recently
purchased the RV and parked it in front of the Andersons’ trailer home
in Geronimo.Chad Anderson,
Mildred Anderson’s husband, earlier that morning noticed Tonya Hobbs’
car was missing, and the Andersons became concerned after repeated
attempts to reach Tonya and Lester Hobbs on their cell phones,
according to the affidavit.Couple had problems in past, relatives say

Investigators interviewed Tonya Hobbs’ mother, Alice Dunkin; her sister, Tisha Dunkin, and sister-in-law Betty Smith. Each described Lester Hobbs as a "violent person who had made threats against Tonya in the past,” according to the affidavit.Tonya Hobbs filed for a protective order against Lester Hobbs in August in Lincoln County.
The request was dismissed when neither appeared at the hearing. In the
petition, Tonya Hobbs wrote, "My husband has threatened to hit my
daughters in the head with a hammer and kill them. He also threatened
to kill me if I left him.”State Corrections Department records show Lester Hobbs was convicted of assault with a deadly weapon in 2001.Aja’s father, J.J. Johnson, of Oklahoma City,
pleaded for the return of his daughter during a Monday news conference.
Johnson, who was granted temporary custody of Aja in November, said he
allowed his daughter to go with her mother to a birthday party on
Friday and sent only a day’s worth of clothing and medication. He said
she takes medicine for a sleep disorder and an attention disorder.

National hotline setup to aid in search for Aja Johnson


GERONIMO, Okla. – The search continues for a 7-year-old girl out of Geronimo.
Authorities issued an amber alert after the girls mother,
37-year-old Tonya Hobbs, was found dead late Sunday night. Police
discovered Tonya Hobbs's body inside a camper home at the intersection
of Minnesota and Comanche, but her daughter Aja Johnson was nowhere to
be found. Police are looking for 47-year-old Lester Hobbs, Tonya's
estranged husband.
A national hotline has been setup to aid in the search for Aja with
help from The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
800-843-5678. The hotline was created to conserve resources for
Geronimo Police. The main priority of the police is to locate Aja.

Previous reports that Hobbs and Johnson were spotted in Texas were
false.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says they had a mix-up
with their data entry, but Hobbs does have contacts in the state, so
there is a chance he could be heading towards Rockport, north of Corpus
Christi. Another possible direction of travel could be the Davenport,
Oklahoma area.
J.J. Johnson, Aja's father, is pleading for her safe return.
"I'm here to make a plea to everyone who's listening, and everyone
who's out there, that I need my little girl back, she's missing. I love
her dearly and she needs her medication. As a parent, as a father, if
anyone out there can help me, please help me get my little girl back,"
said Johnson.
Authorities say Tonya Hobbs was killed inside a camper trailer
belonging to Lester Hobbs, located on his family's property. The state
medical examiner has not issued a cause of death for Tonya Hobbs.

ft tall, 65 lbs, brown hair, and brown eyes. She has several medical

OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma State
Bureau of Investigation agents have found surveillance video of a
murder suspect and the victim just hours before the victim was killed.
OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said Wednesday that the video of 46-year-old
Lester Hobbs and 37-year-old Tonya Hobbs was taken at a Wal-Mart in
Lawton about 5:15 p.m. Saturday.
Tonya Hobbs was found beaten to death Sunday in her motor home in Geronimo and her 7-year-old daughter Aja is missing.
Lester Hobbs is now wanted on first-degree murder and kidnapping charges.

OKLAHOMA CITY --
Investigators have released new photos of Aja Johnson, taken just hours
before her mother was slain and she disappeared.The
images are from a Walmart surveillance camera in Lawton, Okla., and
show Tonya Hobbs with her estranged husband, Lester Hobbs.Aja's
family members said they're beginning to worry that they might not find
her alive. They said Lester Hobbs never likes Aja and that Tonya Hobbs
had filed a protection order against him before her death. In court documents,
Tonya Hobbs said that her husband threatened to hit her
daughter in the head with a hammer.
"I'm sad that this happened to my daughter. It's real nerve-wracking," said
Aja's grandmother, Alice Dunkin. "I don't know where my granddaughter
is. I've had very little sleep. I haven't hardly ate."It's been almost four days
since Tonya Hobbs was killed and Aja was last seen."That's
the worst thing you can do is sit around, wondering where your
granddaughter is, hoping that they'll bring her home safe and sound,"
Dunkin said.She said the longer she goes without any news, the easier
it is to lose hope."It's looking more grim as the day or hours go by that
we may not find her alive," Dunkin said.She said she's trying not to focus
on the unknown, instead concentrating on the day she sees Aja again.
"I want to know if she's safe," she said. "I want her brought home."Dunkin
said she's having trouble paying for Tonya Hobbs' funeral. An account
for the Tonya Hobbs Memorial Fund has been set up at any First
Commercial Bank location.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Authorities said they received a tip that the
vehicle of a man accused of kidnapping a 7-year-old after murdering her
mother was reportedly spotted around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday near SW 68th
Street and May Avenue. However, investigators said they are not sure
yet whether that tip was bogus.
Authorities said Lester Hobbs is driving a white 1992 Toyota Paseo
with material covering the back window. The tipster reported the
vehicle as having the new, different Oklahoma tag number 858BPE, but
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Spokesperson Jessica Brown said
they are still searching for the vehicle with Oklahoma licence tag
number 577BPW.
Lester Hobbs is accused of killing Tonya Hobbs earlier this week then kidnapping Tonya's 7-year-old daughter Aja Johnson.

Oklahoma City - An attorney for the father of a missing 7-year-old girl
says his client violated a court order when he let the child visit her
mother while unsupervised.

Thirty-five-year-old Tonya Hobbs was found slain in Geronimo on Sunday,
and 7-year-old Aja Johnson has been missing since. Police believe she
was taken by Hobbs' estranged husband, 46-year-old Lester Hobbs. Hobbs
has been charged with killing his wife and kidnapping the girl.

A court order prohibited Tonya Hobbs from visiting Aja without
supervision and prohibited the child from being near Lester Hobbs.

Attorney John Branch tells the Associated Press that John J. Johnson
let Tonya Hobbs take Aja to a birthday party in Tuttle last Friday
because he believed she had ended her relationship with Hobbs.

None of the reported sightings of Aja Johnson, 7, and her alleged abductor, Lester Hobbs, have been substantiated, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown said Thursday. But Brown urged the public to continue to report any leads immediately.Hobbs, also wanted in connection with the slaying of Aja’s mother, Tonya Hobbs, is believed to have fled in Tonya Hobbs’ white 1992 Toyota Paseo.The two-door vehicle has the Oklahoma tag 577-BPW, no hubcaps, and a plastic cover over a rear passenger window."People need to understand they could literally be anywhere,” Brown
said. "So we’re asking people to continue to look for the vehicle, the

"He may have decided to hole up with one of his convicted felon
buddies, and maybe they’re not willing to turn in their friend. Well,

OKLAHOMA CITY — Authorities in Oklahoma are trying to follow the trail of a murder suspect and a missing 7-year-old girl.
They say Lester Hobbs murdered his estranged wife Sunday and then vanished

Officials say a car matching the description of a vehicle belonging to the slain woman may have been spotted in Oklahoma City.

say it is crucial to find Aja as quickly as possible.

Officials said that Amber alerts are issued in hopes of finding a child in the first 48 to 72 hours after a disappearance. They said after the information has been broadcast, the alert has served its purpose.The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said it's still looking for Johnson and Lester Hobbs, the man investigators think kidnapped her. They may be driving a white Toyota Paseo.There have been several reported sightings of that car, including surveillance video from a Lawton Walmart just before the discovery of Aja's mother's body.Aja's grandmother said the family is trying to hold out hope."I'm sad that this happened to my daughter," she said. "It's real nerve-wracking. I don't know where my granddaughter is."Aja Johnson and Lester Hobbs will be featured on "America's Most Wanted" on Saturday. There is a $20,000 reward available for information in the case.

The weather has not distracted investigators from the ongoing search for a missing Texoma girl.
Authorities are still working all day, every day on finding Aja Johnson. Officials
say they are not ruling out the idea that she and Lester Hobbs are
still in the area and possibly hiding out in a house.
They are asking that the public check up on anyone, especially those in
rural areas. The white Toyota Paseo that Hobbs and Aja are or were in
is believed to be one of the most searched after cars in the country,
and it might very well be hidden somewhere, since someone should have
seen it by now.
A $20,000 reward has now been set for anyone who knows anything

GERONIMO, OK -- Investigators are combing a murder scene in
Geronimo, searching for any sign of a missing 7-year-old girl. It's
been nearly two weeks since Aja Johnson's mother was found murdered
and, it appears investigators have no leads in the case.

Tonya Hobbs was found beaten to death Sunday, January 24th in a camper on
Lester Hobbs' property. Investigators believe Lester Hobbs killed Tonya
and kidnapped Aja, but there has been no sign of Hobbs or the child.
Investigators on the scene in Geronimo Wednesday say they wanted
a renewed interest in the case to help bring Aja home safely.

GERONIMO, Okla. — The U.S. Marshal’s Service has added its Sex Offender
Investigation Unit to the search for a missing 7-year-old girl and her
stepfather.

Authorities have been searching for 7-year-old Aja (AY’-zhuh) Johnson
and Lester Hobbs since Jan. 24 when Tonya Hobbs, 37, Lester Hobbs’
estranged wife and the mother of the girl, was found beaten to death in
a camper near Geronimo in southern Comanche County.

Law enforcement officers conducted a house-by-house search Wednesday
for the missing girl and planned to check every home in the area, said
Marc Crawford of the Sex Offender Investigation Unit.

An Amber Alert has been in effect since Jan. 24 for Johnson after her
mother was found dead. Hobbs, 46, was charged Jan. 26 in Comanche
County District Court with first-degree murder and kidnapping.

Crawford said that the Sex Offender Unit became involved in the
investigation after investigators received information that Hobbs could
be sexually abusing the child.

The Marshal’s Service moved its newest command center trailer to
Geronimo Sunday night. Crawford said the $1.3 million mobile command
post, housed in Oklahoma City, serves the service for the western
portion of the United States including Alaska and can be flown anywhere
it is needed.

“It’s one of the best pieces of equipment we have to track criminals and sex offenders,” Crawford said.

Crawford said the command center is able to link local law enforcement
with Internet to satellite television information hubs and information
can be sent and received almost instantly.

The case was mentioned briefly on Saturday’s episode of America’s Most
Wanted television show and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation
was culling about 300 leads Wednesday, Jessica Brown, spokesperson,
said. She said the investigation has been a step behind since its
beginning due to the estimated 24-hour head start Hobbs had before the
Amber Alert was called.

Authorities are ramping up their search for a registered sex offender who police believe abducted Aja Johnson, 7.
Aja has been missing for more than a week after her mother was slain in the town of Geronimo. Police have indicated that Lester Hobbs may be linked to the killing and the kidnapping.
The winter storm that hit the area slowed the search for Aja, but police said they think it may have also slowed Hobbs. They said they think he may have disguised himself and the girl.
Searchers Step Up Efforts For Missing Girl
Investigators said they're retracing their steps to the initial scene of the crime and hope to find fresh clues. They said bringing the case back into the spotlight is the best way to bring Aja home.
"We've gone back to square one and we're doing a lot of things to see if, by chance, we overlooked something," said Richard Goss of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
He said that none of the nearly 300 leads have panned out.
Comanche County Sheriff Kenny Stradley went house-to-house on Thursday to show Aja's picture, asking people if they have seen the girl.
"It's what everybody is talking about," said resident Janie Bowles. "She needs to be found safe."
Authorities said they believe Aja is still alive and may be close by. They said they don't believe Hobbs has left the state.
Teams have also been looking in barns and vacant homes.
There is a $20,000 reward available for information leading to Hobbs' arrest. Police said they're looking for a white Toyota Paseo with a plastic covering over one of the windows. They asked anyone who has seen Hobbs or the vehicle to call 911.
"We do need people's help," Goss said. "We know that the storm came in and people's attention was down and now we need to come back again. I will say this again. Act like this is your daughter and keep looking."

GERONIMO, OK -- For the first time, the investigation and search for
missing girl, Aja Johnson, took the air on Friday. With the help of
Chopper 4, search crews were able to get a bird's eye view of the most
remote areas in the county.

An Amber Alert has been in effect since January 24 for 7-year-old Aja
Johnson. The alert was issued after her mother, Tonya Hobbs, was found
beaten to death in an RV in Geronimo.

Authorities believe Tonya's estranged husband 46-year-old Lester Hobbs took the little girl and killed Tonya.

Authorities are focused on finding the 1992 Toyota driven by Hobbs.

At the same time, on the ground, officers once again go door to door in Geronimo.

While the search again turned up empty, investigators aren't giving up hope.

"We're glad Channel 4 was here providing us with helicopter support. We
still hope we can get Hobbs found and get Aja back to her father," said
Marc Crawford.

Investigators are still offering a 20 thousand dollar reward for information that leads to an arrest.
