Possible kidnapping? Young female/5-6 yo - Aurora IL
Aurora police are looking for more information on a suspicious
incident that some witnesses believe may have been a kidnapping.
According to Aurora police, at 5:10 p.m. officers were called to the
2900 block of Savannah Drive on the city’s far Northeast side. Residents
said a girl, about 5 or 6 years old, was riding a pink bicycle when she
was carried into a white van by an adult woman, police said. The van
then left the area at a normal speed, police said.
Police said the child had brown hair and was dressed in all pink
clothing. The adult woman was described as in her thirties with brown
hair and a thin build, police said.
Aurora police said they have not received any calls about missing
children. They are asking anyone with information to call the
Investigations Division at 630-256-5500.
