Police asked for help Wednesday to find a 15-year-old girl who has been missing for three weeks after apparently running away from home.Fishers police said Danielle Marie Baker left her Fishers home after a doctor's appointment.The girl's legal guardian told police that she believes Baker is staying with friends in Indianapolis.


Indianapolis police said they were told that Baker may be staying with friends in the area of Hamilton Avenue and Washington Street.Police cited sources who told them that Baker had been walking the streets in the area and may be involved in prostitution.Baker had been living in Indianapolis before she was placed with a family in Fishers, police said.Baker is about 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds. She has a tattoo on her back and above her left hip bone, police said. She also has piercings in her nose, lip and navel.Police asked anyone with information to call 317-595-3300.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are again searching for a 15-year-old girl who ran away from home a second time weeks after a prior runaway.Indianapolis police Officer Kendale Adams said Danielle Marie Baker was released from juvenile detention and had been returned to her legal guardian's home in Fishers earlier this month before she left again.Police said Baker stole her guardian's van, a white 1998 Ford Windstar, and is believed to be in the area of Emmerich Manual High School.Investigators think Baker could be in an area bounded by New York Street to the north, Hanna Avenue to the south, Meridian Street to the west and Sherman Avenue to the east.Baker previously left home after a doctor's appointment in October. Sources told police after that disappearance that Baker may have been involved in prostitution.She had been living in Indianapolis before being placed with a family in Fishers.Baker is about 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds. She has a tattoo on her back and above her left hip bone, police said. She also has piercings in her nose, lip and navel.Investigators fear Baker may run if confronted by law enforcement.
