Published: December 07, 2010 Edgefield County, SC -- The Edgefield County Sheriff's Department tells WJBF News Channel 6 they are currently searching for a missing teen girl.

Kendra Hartmann, 16, has been missing since Friday, December 3rd. She was last seen at here home, in Trenton.

Hartmann is described as being a light-complexion white female, 5'7" tall, and weighing 160-180 pounds. She has grey/blue eyes, and light brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, pink pants, black and white shoes, and a gray wool coat. She was carrying an off-white colored purse. Distinguishing marks include a tattoo on her lower back in light blue ink that says "lil ma", a birthmark on the left side of her chin, and cutting scars on both arms.

Missing Edgefield girl believed to be in Richmond County
A family is asking for help in finding a 16-year-old girl who has been missing for almost two weeks.

EDGEFIELD COUNTY, S.C.---A teenage girl is missing from Edgefield County. Kendra
Leann Hartmann's family believes she's in danger and is somewhere in Richmond County.

Kelly Alsuhaim is worried about her cousin.
Kendra's been missing for almost two weeks and as each day passes, Kelly becomes more concerned.

"I just miss Kendra. I miss her making me laugh and just riding with me down the road listening to music," Kelly said.

The 16-year-old disappeared from Kelly's home on Sandrock Road back on
December 3rd. They believe the teen left out her bedroom window.

Kelly has been going to Augusta with flyers asking people if they've seen her
cousin. She also says she's stopped by many hotels in the area and has
asked different hotel employees if they've seen Kendra.

Kelly believes her cousin is in Augusta. She says several people she knows
have spotted the teen. "Every time she's been spotted, she's never been seen alone."

Kendra is 5'7 and 175 pounds. She has brown hair
and gray eyes. Kelly fears Kendra is a victim of human trafficking. She
says she knows what's out there first hand. "It happened to me when I
was 19 years old, and they did horrible things to me," Kelly said.
"Kenra, don't listen to what they tell you."

Kelly knows Kendra ran off before, but this time she thinks it's different. She says her
little cousin wanted to live with her and she was working on getting
full custody because she wanted to give Kendra a home. "Her toothbrush
is still here, her deodorant, her clothes are all here. This is just not
like Kendra. When she ran before, she took a couple of things like that," Kelly said.

The Edgefield County Sheriff's office says
it's a runaway case. But to Kelly, this is clearly a missing person's
case and she wants nothing more than to have her cousin back in her
arms.

"Kendra, come home. We miss you. Just come home. Just call us. We'll come get you," Kelly said through tears.

Kelly hopes someone with information about her cousin's whereabouts comes forward.

The Edgefield County Sheriff's Office says they're working with Richmond
County in hopes of finding Kendra Hartmann. Richmond County
investigators say they've followed up on possible leads, but as far as
they can tell, Kendra has not been spotted in Augusta.

misdemeanor count of simple battery; Dec. 1: 30 days in the Short Term
Program -- 16 days suspended -- and committed to the Department of
Juvenile Justice
