"Toddler Jane Doe" - 2 yo - Hazelwood (E Pittsburgh) PA

City
police were investigating an incident in Hazelwood early Friday in
which a 2-year-old girl was critically injured by a falling television
set.

Police were called to a home on Second Avenue at about 12:44 a.m. for
a report of an injured child and found the girl lying on a bed,
unresponsive and bleeding. Paramedics took her to Children's Hospital of
Pittsburgh of UPMC in Lawrenceville, where she was in critical
condition.

Homicide detectives said the mother, 34, was in the house with the
child, her 15-year-old son and two other daughters. The mother told
police she was sleeping with her two daughters when her son heard a
crash in the bedroom. He ran into the room to find his sister beneath
the TV and pulled it off of her.
